Icarus is the PS exclusive map, and you can start matches by yourself. Those that strive to win a MOTW will rejoice.
They showed some exotic weapon ornaments for older guns. I'd suspect every exotic weapon and armor will get ornaments as well as all newly added legendary armor (and maybe weapons).
They never once mentioned or even hinted that that would be coming to Destiny.

They didn't. People saw people in a test build earning grimoire for killing a certain class and automatically jumped to the conclusion that it will be there in the final product.
This is what we know as of now about the rewards:
