Tanks are pseudo DPS now. Threat isn't a factor, tanks generate so much threat all you need to do is press any of your buttons to keep aggro. Instead the focus is on using your active mitigation at the right times and doing more damage with your DPS rotation. So yeah more people play tank because all they need to do is stand in front of shit and use their DPS rotation

LFR and LFD don't affect your gameplay, they're not mandatory.

Fat Boss made the same argument and I think it's autistic. What purpose does removing LFG serve? Clearly there are plenty of super casual players who use it as their only raid experience, and if it's letting people actually see the inside of raids and get a taste of raiding whatever, let them have it. There are tons of people who won't do any group content unless they can queue for it and never interact with people, it's autistic but that's why it's there.

Lets be real here, do you really think your average LFR shitter could even handle normal raids? The whole point of LFR was Blizzard was spending a ton of time and resources on raids that only 10% of the population were actually seeing. I think less than 2% of the playerbase actually did Sunwell when it was relevant. You can't spend so much time making art assets and shit for things less than half the playerbase will get the opportunity to see. LFR is for turboshitters who can barely manage a 2 button DPS rotation. Removing LFR isn't going to magically make them get good, they're just going to miss out.
