A person who is willing to put that much time and effort into something would be backing their shit up daily, hell, I just save dojinshi and Hgames from the internet and I back my shit up redundantly on 2 different externals once a week. "my hard drive died" should mean that at most 5-6 hours of work is gone, which is nothing.

Especially considering most H games aren't more than a couple hundred megs, so plenty of backup options available.

Even with slow internet, it would be perfectly doable to have a free google drive for backups as long as you did incrementals.

I'm willing to accept things like "I lost 2 days of work" or "I lost the progress I made on a specific fork that I stupidly kept locally" but anything more and you're either too stupid/careless for your own good or you're just a lying scumbag.

It's a million times worse when it's someone that has already received money, in which case they should be found and quartered.

Any new long rpgmaker games worth playing?

New? No. 2015, yes. Missing Link from Cupid Ice is 30-40 hours and plays like Persona+SMT, narukami occult club is 20-30 hours and is fun through several playthroughs, acerola games are all generally 10+ hours. The longest RPGMaker H-game I can think of is 種づけ孕ませ魔法少女, it's around 50-70 hours to complete. Princess Rachel from the same circle as narukami is a good length too.
