Oh, yeah, that's total bullshit. I just like the idea of "Frisk" going through the underground with full knowledge of everything and pretending to be good. Canon Chara with his uncanny politeness he displays at the end of genocide would make for some fun stories.

Just remember, everything good is Chara's influence and efforts, and everything bad is the player's fault. Frisk is like Papyrus in Sans-centric stories, they don't exist, you just think they do.

Just has a passenger in my opinion. Whatever is left of Chara adds some to Frisk's determination and they tag along for the ride. A mix of symbiotic and parasitic, depending on if you see Chara as a corrupting influence.

I do, because corruption is fun.

You still have a SOUL during battle sequences on soulless pacifist, so Chara's got to be there.
I'd say it's more that Chara's just got control at that point, really.

I've been thinking that Chara/Frisk might actually be another hybrid, with Chara acting as the monster component. When the first hybrid died, Chara should've died with Asriel as his SOUL breaks, but his genocide text implies he vaguely remembers sleeping in the coffin. Why? Well, if Flowey exists because the hybrid dust fell onto the flowers, maybe Chara exists because the hybrid dust fell onto his body, which went into the coffin and then into the ruins which Frisk falls on top of. Frisk's determination fully wakes monster Chara and ends up fusing him with Frisk.

Frisk being a hybrid also explains how he's able to leave in every neutral ending. All the monsters assume they killed Asgore for his soul, but it was never needed it in the first place. Also, you likely don't actually need a human and monster soul to leave the underground, only their power equivalent as Asriel proved, Being fused with a hybrid even if it's only their determined dust should give more than enough juice.

I don't think they ever left the Underground in any of the neutral endings. They're just stuck in the blank 'continue' space Flowey helped orchestrate, protected by the six souls from the fallout, but with no means to progress. That's why you get the end calls, but can never respond, and what would drive them to try again.
