So if I were to boost something to 90 id have to deal with other servers during 90-100 but after I could enjoy 90% of the server being on my faction. That doesnt seem too bad. I only care about being bothered while leveling once I hit cap im not worried since it wont hurt my xp/hr. I assume come legion crz would still allow me to get killed if I was on my way to do cata raids and stuff but thats fine.

Healers are pretty critical for winning bgs. I don't like playing one though since you just get torrents of abuse in chat if someone dies.

tanks being viable would vastly increase the amount of different team compositions you could run
something like Prot Warrior+Hunter+Holy Paladin being introduced into the meta would be pretty fun, IMO

Just pick any class that is not Warrior. Warrior is too reliant on a pocket healer.
Healers are the most crucial for a victory, something like Resto Druid would be pretty solid
either that or a flag carrier, maybe Guardian Druid?
