Take note that the damage area, in both big and small are 1 block only, so the center block facing the thruster will take damage, the rest wont, or at least it was like that not so long ago, its better to hide the thrusters because they get damaged very easy.

All unmodded thrusters do damage to all blocks.

How does buoyancy and air work with full and half blocks? I'm really confused with the buoyancy and empty space values.

What I'm really asking is, is it worth making as much of the buoyant area from slopes instead of full blocks?

I made a cheap stealth bote, it costs around 14k

It goes up to 22 m/s, it's armed with 12x 8 long radar guided missiles, the launcher is flush with the hull once retracted. It also have shields set to reflect at strenght 3 that cover all the hull. Finally it has 8k materials to convert into ammo and 40k fuel with a mid-high efficency engine (around 330 ppf). The only thing that it doesn't have is a countermeasure system for missiles but with all the stealthiness it has i don't think it really needs one.

Due to Nick being a lazy fuck, spinblocks and turrets count for detection as if they were completely exposed. It's actually godawful for stealth.

I have a nice rig at home but could I play empyrion on my laptop at work? It has that dual Intel / AMD thing, i7 and 16gb RAM.

Has Empyrion still FPS problems in multiplayer when flying capital vessels/multiple ships?

This intersection might give you a general idea how to use Chain Signals easily.
You place Normal Signals on EXITS, and you place Chain Signals on EVERYTHING ELSE.
(that's for crossings, stations, intersections etc. You ofc still use normal signals for long straight stretches).

This crossing lets 1-4 trains to pass through the intersection at the same time without having to wait for intersection to clear, or crashing into each other.
Ofc, I am using a one-way train system, from what I see, you have train engines on both ends, so you might have to troubleshoot your stuff if you see problems.

No matter where I put the ammo, the ship blows up usually from the first hit since it's too close to the outer layer.

Is it possible to reverse a propeller using complex controls? I don't get how to do it.

I have, for turning purposes, 4 propellers on front left, front right, back left, back right... and I want to activate them all at once for faster turning, but appropriately when considering whether it's turning left or right.

You can turn on the debug draw and it will show the damage ball.
As long as you don't put anything in that line you'll be fine.

The simplest way is to spawn them in on different teams. Press x, then select what team they're on (upper right as I recall, might not be right).

Same deal with loading ships. Anything not on the same team will fight, just change what team the vehicles are on and watch them go at it.
