Nothing confirmed lad, but there was a big shitstorm on the vanilla private server community a few months back. Blizz will most likely release it if they feel it will be worth the shekels. Search up nostalrius if you give a shit about it.
Also, the game is still very fun even if its an unbalanced mess. Actually, thats part of what makes it so enjoyable.
