so you try to avoid killing them, even when you're approaching max detection

usually you only kill a guard that is cool if you need to for an objective or if it's a control map (like GO bank, for example), or if it's for quality of life, like killing the upstair guards in ED

cavity one hits basic guards and can double tap murkies if you HS them, while having pretty good concealment

i'm not trying to imply im very good at stealth, i just personally avoid killing guards to the extreme

I hate this new "eeeeverything is viable!" balance.
I used to have one full page with just ARs.
Weapons used to be different enough to have small niches, I used to pick the JP35 to have high ammo count at the cost of a little accuracy, the Commando to have a little higher firerate at the cost of no extended mag, the CAR for faggotry, differently built weapons for with and without the headshot bonus, with and without the 5% damage bonus, etc.
Now every AR is exactly the same. They demolished all the niches and there's just one big niche of all rifles being the same shit and everyone having the same bonuses. The JP35 is now IDENTICAL to the Commando, except slightly worse.
No shit everything is viable, it all shoots exactly the same (or slightly worse).

And whose bright idea was to make damage variations in mods 1-2 points each?

So do any of the melee skills apply to the saw? I kinda want to try and make the saw viable to murder shit with and not just utility, but I'm having a pretty rough time coming up with something that just can't be done better by cutting a bitch with a katana or flag pole.

It a strange feeling I have with payday, they put a lot of effort into marketing and I assume into the dlc that follows. The prices are not always worth it but the steam sales mean if your patient you can just buy the dlc on the cheap.

I can't decide if payday 2 is a good game run buy developers who love their game but are incompetent and make mistakes.

It would be so much better if it was handled by some different developers but Overkill has put a ton more love into the game than most real big modern game development studios
Also Overkill does not deserve the time and effort of our glorious lord Simon Viklund, he is literally the sole reason I bought this game when it first came out and by far the biggest reason I've stayed

look at an objective and see how far away it is
