DK = strong, lots of self healing. zero mobility
Warrior = Very simple class with zero self healing, so you are completely reliant on others. Fury is trash right now because it takes 30% bonus damage, but arms/prot are fun
Rogue = meme class. Sub has insane mobility right now though, so its insane for PvP

How do I know if I am playing an expansion yet or if I am still in vanilla?

I am level 42 and I can't tell if I'm doing a story or just grinding out location quests?

If you want to be a healer and you like healing, you'll be a holy priest because that's basically their thing: they fucking heal and they don't dick around about it.

Every other class is like "oh but I can maybe do like 2kdps"!

I think maybe the only other class i'd play as a healer would be shaman and that's literally only for bloodlust/heroism

Literally the most common complaint on wow is that if it's not 1 week after a patch there's fucking nothing to do at 100

Fury's actually pretty good right now if you're going to have a healer with you anyway the damage output is high enough that bloodthirst makes up for the increased damage and you have enraged regeneration if you get into trouble. That's if you have a healer though without one it does end up being a bit worse than the others.

two healing specs is a double edged sword if you are raiding since you'll be expected to play both even if you don't necessarily like both

i would say holy priest, resto shaman, and resto druid are probably your best bets though. personally i love holy paladins and mistweaver monks but monks can be a bit awkward and holy paladins are very single target oriented.

It's literally temp summons and buff over and over. Why is it necessary to recast the buff endlessly when summons are almost your entire rotation? If you're going to make a non-attack spell that essential then why not make it last for like 12 to 15 seconds and just let it apply to all summons within that span? Nevermind that mobility is fucking gone and trying to peel in melee is just eating endless interrupts and spell lockouts.

Check the map and the levels of zones.
Be aware that 1-60 is actually is cataclysm-era stuff, so BC and WotLK take place before that, chronologically.

It had two content patches, one of which was a garrison update, meant to expand isolationist content that separated you from everyone else.

WoD's the expansion with the least amount of content. No new class, no new race. Only really anything to write home about were the garrisons, but again, it was a very un-MMO feature. Expansion also was pretty grindy overall.

a healer cant save you if you get oneshot in any PvE or PvP scenario, because you are literally the squishiest spec in the game

It really doesn't when it comes to leveling. The questing is incredibly linear which means you'll be doing the exact same ones the fifth time as you did the first. Other expansions had zones with overlapping levels so you could at least mix it up between characters. Draenor does have treasures but they're generally useless as gear and leveling through the experience from them would require flying which a lot of people weren't subbed when it came out to get it. And bonus objectives are just quests without the prompts.

How hard is "Herald of the Titans" Achievement? I've heard it was done by two paladins, but did they have to turn on their brains or did they just muscle through it.

It LITERALLY doesn't matter what are you healing with in pve unless you are fucking method pushing for r1 mythic. Just don't be a druid.
