>b-b-but too far
Glad I didn't go. Great views, but those roads looked boring as fuck
>boring as fuck
hmmmm
>hairpins
More like sweepers with lots of straights everywhere
I guess the turns on pike's peak are sweepers too right user :)
Have you actually driven it?
>comparing that to pikes peak. get over yourself
it is very comparable to pike's peak. I've driven both
pike's peak is about twice as long, but onion valley has a steeper elevation change on a per mile basis
pike's peak also has the nasty problem of shit tons of tourist traffic. just look at google streetview if you don't believe me
Road looks boring as fuck. Great scene... That's it.
Having driven GMR, Crest, Rt33 out of Ojai, and most of the Mulholland roads repeatedly while I lived in LA, I can safely say that the roads in the lower Sierras are far more interesting than anything in LA County
also CA-130 going up and down Mt Hamilton east of San jose is a better road than anything in LA
it's fine for you to stick to the roads you like, but all you're doing when you call out roads you've never driven as bad is showing your own incredible personal naiveness
Stop bitching and post better videos then
Forgot to make flyer....
Will get to it eventually
Bump
Looks as if you guys split it up with cars worth looking at and shitboxes, then took the picture from the wrong side.
patterson pass road east over livermore is fun too.
scary though, it's pretty much a paved 1-way cattle road in some areas that gets a bit jumpy.
but that's part of its charm. It also lacks guard rails around the highest points with massive drop offs.
when you hit the top of it, it's an 8-10% grade downhill.
GMR and ACH are the best roads out there. Why bother going anywhere else?
