I think you're right, I'll avoid posting any of my art until I'm at a "decent" level with it. But I'll be around here, reading and learning and sometimes posting.

It's always the same story, FHF was just the most extreme example.
People come around wanting attention, post their bad art with some false promises of improving, and then generally shit up the place and cause drama.
Not that we haven't had some real cases of people getting better over their time here -I encourage you to take a look at Gud or Skelly or Starchy on the booru- but even they started out with some raw talent and worked from there.
We've been at this for two years now, and at this point it's become pretty easy to spot those who are willing to work for their respect, and those who are just here for the (you)s.
