How exactly does ReiEdit work? Do I have to have it in a specific directory?

Mine is inside the AA2_Play\cheats folder
\illusion\AA2\cheats\ReiEditAA2\ReiEditAA2.exe in my case
You use it to edit either characters or saves altogether. I use it mostly for saves since it's not an WYSIWYG interface. You just hit 'save' on the characters you're editing on the side of their cards. You can pretty much do anything to your saves like changing around the character's preferences and virtues as well as editing their affinity for other characters.
You can also edit cards by themselves.
