What's the downside to killing a VIP instead of extracting them?

You miss out on like a 100 intel.

I think of all the obnoxious shit Long War changed, allowing/making seekers just fly up one space away and blast you repeatedly instead of just grabbing is by far the worst.

What should I aim for in terms of armor for long war? I'm still on tacshit since i can squeeze out 1 more hp than the aliens can deal currently. I want to keep obsolescence to a minimum but I doubt tac vests => titan is going to work very well.

I go tac armor > phalanx (only for scout/assault) > carapace for all > titan for frontliners and aegis for mid/back

and of course seraph (light jetpack armor) for the sniper

user, nearly every single general on Veeky Forums has multiple waifus and husbandos. It's not like the majority of the threads are dominated by it. Even when there's heavy posting of it going on short term it takes up less than 10% of the total thread the overwhelming majority of the time, and never goes past 20%.

I have it installed and I never use them. Same with the leader pack. It's just paying more resources in-game for something extremely niche that probably only one of your soldiers will use.

We have 750 posts before bump limit. Less than 75 on average are snek or remove snek related. If you include general waifu/husbando (EXALT, EXALT-chan, Patsy, Coydex, etc.) we still rarely go over 150 total posts between all of them.
