Here's a pastebin with games you can play while waiting for SC to be finished or for E:D to be fun:

1st for Mako Laser Pistols

(That won't get put into the game)

In E:D, does the acid rounds effect have any difference based on multi size? Like small vs huge?

>women driving

Sorry user. I understand your frustration through my own experiences.

>yet another Vanguard in 2.6

>I wonder who holds the rights to the IP.
Atari.
>On June 22, 2014, Atari announced a new corporate strategy that would include a focus on "new audiences", specifically "LGBT, social casinos, real-money gambling, and YouTube".[49]

Vanguard pod, really.

It's because they couldn't unfuck all the things objectively wrong with the Redeemer before 2.6 comes out.

Yeah that's right, objectively. Deal with it.

>I wonder who holds the rights to the IP.
>Atari.
Abandon ship. Just have to reinstall the original and play through it again.

Are they changing what the Vanguard is meant to do or something?

I thought it was spaceBRRT

>that poor guy
>trying to act like he can't just kill her right there
>it's painfully obvious
Man, that must have been painful. Noticed the vehicle took zero damage, and got zero hit mark pips when he did hit it though. Kind of weird.

oh it's this guy again

the actual objective truth is that it's easy peasy to just make a new variant and charge another 200+ for it and whales will gobble it up

>Atari
>Leading the gaming world in brilliant decision making since December 1982

What is an info runner?
Hoplites are some kind of troop or power armour?

this guy KNOWS space sim fans. To ashes.

>no /scg/

probably CR's idea to throw it into the fight before it was combat ready

true, he fucked up, but if people are too lazy to ctrl-f "star c" welp.

Nice job OP, you failed at copying and pasting.

It's still stupid to convert it into a dropship instead of strapping some benches into a cargo ship. The interior is tiny.

They thought it would be a briliant idea to make a separate variant for everything the Vanguard was supposed to do originally. Somewhere during that process it also lost all the firepower it should have had.

"Hoplite" is the name of the variant. It doesn't fit at all, but apparently CR doesn't care.

frame him as a homosexual kafeer then dox him in a muslim forums

that or the guns were too small to do anything to the armor

>implying /edg/ isnt just intimidated by SC after gamescom

Nah, we're still bris. I'm happy for your 3.0.

There looked to be some hit detection issues with the FPS portion also. Probably thanks to the netcode they're still working with?

I thought the redeemer was a gunship with a secondary dropship role.

bros*

JUDEN

bully

No. It applies the same status effect regardless of the weapon firing the rounds.

They also don't stack so you don't need any more than one.

The trailers and shit look nice. Lots of life and flavour which we all know ED is sorely missing.

>It's still stupid to convert it into a dropship instead of strapping some benches into a cargo ship. The interior is tiny.

Maybe because its for special forces, and requires a tough combat ship with an extreme range, not some converted truck.

Sorry to repost this from the last thread but I need encouragement/to be told if I am doing wrong.

I am thinking about melting down my Reliant Kore and upgrading my Aurora LN a Freelancer DUR.
It pains me to do it since they are both LTI and for some reason my brain thinks two small LTI ship are better then one medium LTI ship.
Am I doing the right thing?

Nice. Gonna put it on my corvette's small, with incendiary on the rest.

Without considering any logic, I sometimes wish ED and SC could actually be combined into one game.

Yeah. The KORE is pretty much a side-grade to LN. LTI won't matter much in the game anyway, as hull insurance is supposed to be very cheap. Or you could try your chance on reddit's greymarket and make some profit selling one of the LTI ships.

They put them there for explorers to find. You can find large caches even further out.

IDK why they thought anyone would even consider picking them up when your jump range is your most valuable asset on an exploration run.

They're also illegal and worth 2.5K on the black market for a small cache or 7.5K for a large one

the freelancer is just a giant aurora anyway, better guns, more cargo, and not much more of a boat.

the reliant is a gimmicky shitbox and CIG's recod on fixing ships is not great. do it

you can upgrade for free after game release
don't do it

...

Yes. Reliant is trash. Just get a regular freelancer.

>Derek Smart is so devoid of creative thought that he steals his bants from twitch chat spam

>"she's lip synching my name"

Adorable

I'm pretty sure one of the ways they're going to fill out the universe is with player-made mission system.

>My ship blew up and I need rescue, will pay $$$
>I want to trade my cargo through pirate infested asteroids because my life is too boring, escort me for $$$
>Looking for someone to handle my "cargo", will pay $$$

Could be fun if the system is robust.

The name "Hoplite" seems like more of a nickname than an actual variant. It's probably just going to be a Harbinger with a different central pod anyway.

>forcing a special on your weapon costs you rank with the engineer
>specializes in DAKKA
>ranking back up to 5 only takes a few minutes of bounty hunting

Todgineer best engineer

>lip synching my name

That unwarranted self importance.

Do you think Fdev will add Planet Coaster elements to ED?

One day Sandi-senpai will notice me~

Yeah, also just love multis period. All I've used since my Viper. RIP original Viper, I will always remember your maneuverability and speed as it was.

They already do, it's called their dev cycle.

No, this is their dev cycle. Complete with snowstorms that stop you for days. :(

wait what was that last mission?

that'll be a big part of it, and from the sounds of it NPC generated ones will largely work on the same system, so you may never know if you're going to a player or AI job, because they're all on the same board. simple text, 'go here and do this for me plz' type stuff. then there will also be the high production value arcs like we saw today.

>NPC generated ones

Only bad thing about this is that there will most likely be a large sum of missions lacking voiced content.

Maybe if there are NPCs called KappaBoi92

I don't really see that as a huge problem. when you get a voice one you know it's going to be something a little unusual, but not in a glaring way, more like 'oh, this doesn't look like your standard escort job'

I loled

>My ship blew up and I need rescue, will pay $$$
Amazing that Elite already has this. The problem is instead of player to player it's player to dev.

...

Alternate ship variants?

The voiced missions spoil and hype me. When exploring Covalex I absolutely love the audio logs you need to collect. It's why I really dislike interaction with the generated NPCs in ED, aside from their ass ugly faces.

I appreciate some good voiced content, and I can of course enjoy them being text only.

If only the dads could die and people could convince FDev to finally add in payer to player trading and economy.

>If only the dads could die and people could convince FDev to finally add in payer to player trading and economy.
But, but Chinese gold traders will flood the game.

Vulture and Python body kits, coming soon

Good. I could use easy targets.

2.2 looks neat

neat!

I know you're not serious; but seriously, the chink bots would have no interest in ED. The playerbase isn't there and it's not easy enough to bot.

So is 2.5 supposed to come to live tonight or is it being held back until Monday?

>Implying they'll be farming in open

They're like what $10 each or some shit? Only the Eagle one looks any good. At least they're adding them to ships that players actually use now though.

Can't earn them through gameplay?

I'm getting real sick of this f2p cash shop model on this pay to play game they're abusing. Is that the Python bottom right?

No.

>The playerbase isn't there and it's not easy enough to bot.
IKR, but the fucking forumsdads don't understand logic. There's easier, more profitable shit to bot.

I refuse to spend money on this shit until they make some kind of Forza Paint Job system

>No.

lel, fucking jews

That planet looks cool though.

Those planets fucking suck. At least the way the game is now. Takes forever to find a landing spot and if your SRV falls down the chasms you're fucked. If you can land in a chasm, there's a good chance the SRV will get stuck anyway. And POIs/tip offs spawn on the fucking walls. Shit is awful.

That's their special screenshot planet. You can't actually find anything like that in the game. They used it for the impossible menu screen and the occasional screenshot.

robertsspaceindustries.com/media/vss5beargks2fr/source/JumpPoint_04-08_Aug-16_Grim-Realities.pdf

New JP

Aren't we also getting normal sidequests, like the Imperial Cartographer ones are now?

Monoto A 2 A looks just like that. Monoto system.

Should I?

no

Both suck.

Are you actually having trouble killing people in PVP?

the avenger is actually pretty good aside from the fucking weirdly low top speed

I cant figure out any part of ed thats redeemable other than being out and sort of playable.

I like sc's ship asthetics but after playing a whopping 5 minutes it doesnt seem cool anymore.

Try renting.

How many hours of vanduul horde is that anyway?

>hours

you can make 2000-3000 REC in one game if you're not a window licker

Depends how good you are.

If you're experienced, about an 1.5-2 hours

They should have....and also combined thier stupid passenger mission with it.

Take these passengers to planet coaster....where the ride never ends.

Why isn't the SRV a small ship/shuttle of the same size? Something that flies would obviously be superior for planet exploration, due to the .

Is it impossible to create a craft that small that still has space for cargo? Is it just a cost thing? Does the game address this at all?

Kinda reminds me of how nonsensical the buggy was in Star Trek Generations. There was no reason for it to exist in the same universe where shuttlecraft were a thing.

I'm not shitty with my Titan but a single match only earned me 1.5k with many kills.
I might do that. Been meaning to try out other ships.

2000 is about my average with a stalker

what's your wing weapons?

So... new Freelancer HUD?

*due to difficult terrain, like you mentioned
