I've faced Moat dude with Rogue, Patron Warrior with the giant and rouge with the giant.

Patron was good but everything else seemed way too gimmicky

What do you think about Arcane Giant in Token Druid and Tempo Mage? Played a couple of games with an arcane in token and he has been useful for now, I manage to play him at a pretty low price. Probably needs more testing tough. Also what decks most benefit from our guy Barnes? I've been using it in midrange hunter for now. Played him once and he pulled a Highmeme, can't complain

Had fun playing against a barnes Y'Shaarj meme deck that summoned him turn 4. I was playing Freeze mage though, so I just froze him and then drew into polymorph on turn 6.

after getting the hang of it, i got like a 50% winrate against heroic chess. It is beatable, you gotta git gud though.

There's three classes that need good cards in the expansions because their classic pool is mostly garbage: Priest, Shaman and Warlock. If either one of those doesn't get anything broken enough they're gonna be stuck on the bottom. This will be an ongoing problem as long as Standard will include classics. It's almost like Blizzard didn't really think this through.
