Well I installed everything. Everything was in chinese, said there was a virus, all my mods stopped working, thats because base settings is mods off.

Well at least Kim can we're her Brother's jacket now. I gotta figure out which mods are gonna load up now that I apply the setting to allow them.

So what's causing this face tearing? Can you see the black lines around the face? I thought it was possible the Custom Hair, but its doing it with some base game hairs too.

I used to have these pigtail buns that unless the neck was max width it would clip.

I thought this upgrade was going to smoothly. Did some googling, seems alot of people with Nvidia cards are having this problem, but these days that like saying "Its only effecting people that are breathing" I tired turning off my skin overlay, didn't fix it either.

Tested out some more male hairs, they seemed fine. I noticed its only a handful of hairs and the further I zoom out the more thicker the lines get.

Actually, the CC is making it better, as you can see in this image. The CC version of the base game hair is longer and wilder and there is no lines.

That's because the tranny update converted a lot of the male hairs to female

Well it seemed to fix it when I clicked a preset forehead and wiggled her face wideness back-and-forth.

Alright, let me guess your running Nvidia? I've been digging deeper into this issues, and though everyone uses Nvidia, there are zero people with AMD card's complaining about this bug.

Okay guys, which Sims should i download? 3 or 4? I think my PC can handle 3, not sure about 4. Are the differences big? Is 3 with expansions better than 4 with expansions?

3 has a LOT of content but somehow runs worse than 4 on older machines, modding is mandatory (mostly for fixes) and the game is unstable. Plays like the good old Sims games.

4 looks great, has interesting new content but eventually falls short compared to the sheer amount of stuff you can do in older games. You can play it without a single mod and be fine.

the black lines are a CAS only thing. i get them whenever i zoom out to a certain point, and always have (Nvidia!!!!! DAMN YOUUUU). they shouldn't appear in the actual game though.

if they are, maybe try downgrading drivers? or updating drivers? or driving the drivers into a brick wall?

p.s. that hair is fucking fab for kim

Yeah, I wanted Kim to grow her hair out, and I finally have enough hair options to transition it, instead of just POP her hair is longer now.

The second box probably only shows up if you have script mods or after you enable mods. So long as you enable mods, apply, save, reset. Your mods should work.

So Just make sure the box that says "Enable Custom Content and Mods" is checked.
