Magic has some degenerate shit, in case you didn't know - even in EDH, and it's far more expensive. Meanwhile, Pokemon makes it so if you're far enough behind you can't make a comeback. Yu-Gi-Oh lets you make comebacks and is the cheapest of the lot, not counting the Extra Deck which you should be able to get easily anyway.

There are better cards to summon with 2 tributes, like the Planets. But earthbound immortals absolutely need a field spell or you cant play them, which other double tributes dont require.

Thats extremely shit, attack protection means dick, theyre 3k atk already, and they get to maybe direct attack once before they die and then they mow you down because instead of using a monster to generate advantage you wasted it in an Earthbound. All their effects are garbage, they dont generate any advantage and the few with boardwipe abilities dont matter because everything can float, protect itself, or negate it.
