Swords are only better than guns once they're 4*, which is locked behind 101+ content.
Unless you've gotten extremely lucky and 3 swords dropped (in which case whatever) you probably bought them. Don't, they don't restock. One you have 4-5 guns in your pool just uncap the 1* with your 0* and replace it with a gun.
