I had a blast in PTU by engaging the fastest speed mode and and dancing around whatever tried to follow me in the 300i, issue is because of shields these kind of boom & zoom attacks aren't all that effective.

I purchased 2 S2 gimbal mounts for my avenger and put Tempest II missiles on the rack. What would you suggest for a loadout?

Elite is addicting but I hope they go through with the quality of life changes.

Got a suggestion for the 300i? The standard wing lasers seem to pack quite a punch outside overheating easily.

The massdriver feels meh though due to the long reloading time. Tried the Panther repeater now with the free ships, as a sort of fast firing "light" gun to use when the wing lasers need to cool, but I'm not impressed by it. It hardly seems to do anything.

If it was that bad then they should just have died. It's not like there were any SC new in a while. I just don't get why ED would need it if the game was worth a general since it has been out in a while.

I think sometime in 2013 when the game was first revealed I had a wish in me that NMS would have giant space creatures you could encounter.

my premise assumed the fight happened in an atmosphere

Knowing that the idea is stupid is there any gun that is worth replacing the Tarantula GT-870 Mk3s with on the freelancer with?

Speed is everything, you can't hit something you can't track unless you're literally sitting in place spinning your ship in which situation you will be fucking shredded, and it has a good amount of firepower, maybe could do with a little more, hopefully you can customize/mod it with more weapon hardpoints in the final game or whatever.

A ship that fast and light with two heavy BRRRT size 3 weapons that do a shit ton of damage at close range can't not be a good combination if they balance it properly.

Once you start to black out there's no point in being able to change direction faster. It's about flying smart, not fast.

You probably want the S3 Broadswords but I have not seen any 2.4 or 2.5 weapon data.

That's why I mentioned the second half of my post. Shields are easily disabled just by hitting stuff at high speeds.

Steam early access usually connotates a mostly working full game. This is an alpha alpha, like what most companies only do internally these days. Massive overhauls are a regular occurance, most of the game isn't in, including major core features, everything is subject to change, and things not working is par for the course. The whole point is actual bug finding and stress testing. It's a test bed, not a demo.

This is not a 'test bed' that's what the PTU is for. Star Citizen, as it stands now, is an early access game that is being added too.

It stopped being a strictly testing thing when they released the PTU.

Not saying the game is base-line fully fleshed out and now they are adding content (well they are almost at that stage desu) but we definitely aren't in the 'technical test' stages anymore.
