I'm unironically only going to buy this if RPGCodex gives it a good review

>we don't want to lock you into a build at the start, we want to let you pick up and use any weapon and play however you find the game fun >hey heres a skill system you have to put points into before even playing the game and if you use something without skill points in it you're gonna be bad ?????????????? who designed this shit? is it that fat guy? who even is he? who hired him??? he shouldn't have a job, everything they were saying was completely counter to what they actually showed

Might in PoE was such a horrible idea I really don't know what Sawyer was smoking when he thought that trash up
Chase Flores
i liked it, i thought the idea behind the stat system was pretty good but the implementation of one point equaling an infinitesimal change was really beyond stupid, seems like they are using an even more extreme case of that in tyranny. why even have stats at all? their way of making every character viable isn't by making every stat important and allowing for different builds, it's to make every stat completely worthless so characters are extremely bland
Josiah Morales
I thought the attribute system as a whole could work, but having Might as a stat that every character has to invest in to do damage is silly. If every character needs a stat, why is it even an option?

I haven't played ME in over two years, but Farewell and Into the Inevitable and End of an Era still make me feel so many feelings.
Wyatt Roberts
the thing is that the changes were small enough that you didn't need to invest in it to do good damage since it didn't make much of a difference. i think with proper tuning of base damages and stat influences it would work by allowing you to spec into higher raw damage or still decent damage but with a focus on conditions or aoes or something else.
