Financial success as a woman?

Hey Veeky Forums, I wish I were joking about this, but I need you to enlighten me on something.
>22 year old female doing a very dead-end Master's programme (it's not in the Arts, but most of the jobs I will be able to do are slowly getting automated)
>average looks, not fat, but don't put a lot of effort in my appearance (just simple makeup and maintaining a clean appearance)
>doing shitty freelance survey work to pay off my pocket money while trying to get employed
>meanwhile, my cousin is the girlfriend of a very rich guy, she is the type of fake tanned girl (I have to admit, she does look amazing with her makeup and everything on) but works at his company making around 2000 EUR a month just for herself (he pays for her house, food etc)
I do wish to finish my Master's programme as I fought so much for admittance and I am studying abroad (Europe). However, I am not sure if after finishing uni I will ever be able to be a successful woman (being able to retire early) or I should just give up and work my way around becoming some high class bimbo.
I've started to read some financial education books and would really love to be in charge of my own finances throughout my life.
Bonus question: my current bf also dreams of being independent and having his own business but is stuck in the 'paycheck to paycheck' mentality and I can't get him to get out of it.
Opinions?

Become a whore and make your bf your pimp. Invest earned money in deutche bank before it's too late.

If you're an app designer, I can help you retire early.

>However, I am not sure if after finishing uni I will ever be able to be a successful woman (being able to retire early)
why not? i thought fems can do anything these days. basically for retirement you want to save up the living costs of 25-35 years. set a budget for yourself see how low you can get save as much as possible if you have a good earning job 7-11 years of work you are looking at before retirement.

not an app designer... more into working with databases (not the programming part though)

Hmm that seems simple, but my salary would be quite small for the first 8-10 years of my career. I'm just scared to see how my bf makes 3 times what I'll be making and still ends up peniless at the end of the month.

>I'm just scared to see how my bf makes 3 times what I'll be making and still ends up peniless at the end of the month.
there is no amount of money one can't just blow away. it takes discipline to make a budget and stick to it. it's not one of my strong suits but gf is extremely frugal and some of it stuck to me.

i collected like 5-7 years under the equal amount of years which is pretty bad, but i also have student loans to pay back and stuff.

That sounds good though, keep going!

first i collected how much i spend on stuff
>25% food (wtf!!? later on i managed to halve this)
>17% rent
>8% other expenses eating out and entertainment
>3% clothing
>2.4% student loan monthly minimum payment
>26% student loan early repayment
>2% cleaning products and personal hygiene
>0.6% banking expenses and insurance

this way you see the proportions and where to cut your expenses. this is the most important part because it's the key to retirement. lower cost living means more years by default and more savings also.

Hmm....right now I don't have any loans, I'd say my situation would be somewhere around 60% rent, 25% food, 5% eating out and 10% clothing & misc.
I bike a lot to save money but I guess I could reduce the food budget and put some of it towards savings...

that 60% rent looks horrible to me. you are co-renting with bf and still takes up this much?

No, right now I am away studying. I am sharing a flat with 3 other people and yes, it is one of the cheaper places in this area.
My budget is tiny though so no wonder it takes up so much percentage-wise. I'm used to being frugal though, it just has killed my social life here as I can't afford to go out and drink with my roommates more than twice a month.

Or you could come to the US where jobs with decent salaries exist. One of the most paradoxical things about Europe I found was that in spite of the number of affluent upper-middle and upper class people a job with a good salary is hard to come by. I guess you guys are "locked in" to where you are born.

If you want dosh go to America or Asia when you graduate. Then go back to Europe for the economic stability once you have your money.

...

>Asia
What part of Asia?

China is where you go to make money as a Westerner if you know the language and the culture. Other parts of SE Asia aren't bad either.

buy trumpcoin

Also OP an "escort" in America can make more money in a weekend than your sister does in a month by being a bimbo. I don't know what it is about some sluts that makes them set the bar so incredibly low.

I thought the Chinese only hired white people for window dressing.
I've also heard they're cheating rats.

This, if you're going to be a slut for money at least make sure you're making money.

No, you can make a lot of money dealing with the Chinese. But you have to know their social games and truly understand them if you aren't going to be cheated.

Work on developing your skills and your CV, get Veeky Forums and take pride in your appearance.

Like it or not, people want to be around attractive, successful people and this is reflected in recruitment. Appearance is probably even more important for women.

Don't become a bimbo unless you want to marry and be a housewife. Women will talk endless shit about you and men won't respect you.

west eu has a higher standard of living than the us tho. better salaries too.

Better than what part of the US though?
It's a big country and the shitty parts are pretty shitty.

well name any state that can compete with luxemburg for example.

Luxemburg isn't Western Europe, it's one tiny location in Western Europe.

>Go to germany
>Get money for getting children
>get knocked up
>Put kid up for adoption
>Repeat

yes but you only have to find one tiny bit of murrica that has better living wages and generally wealthier.

>west eu has a higher standard of living than the us tho

Due to programs like single payer healthcare etc, sure.

>better salaries too.

Only if you cherry pick your stats from places like Luxembourg etc. For the majority of Western Europe that's false.

en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_European_countries_by_average_wage

Pic related. Seriously though, most of the US is on par with Denmark with an average salary of 35k. Outside of cherry picked locations like Switzerland and Luxembourg the average European income is shitty, plus goods and services there are expensive enough to wipe out the conversion difference.

This.
do you even woman sis?

/thread

Meanwhile in the US, even the twenty lowest income states are doing better than most of Western Europe.

>pic major that pays shit
>finish masters bc muh passion
>be woman
>complain about wage gap compared to men with good jobs
>marry rich man eventually anyway
>implying any life choices matter

us median salary isnt much better. and they are not comparable at all because european salaries include pensions etc. health care.

denmark salary seems larger they count pensions to income salary. different system than others.

norway and switzerland have highest salaries. norway has very high taxes tho. denmark have the highest taxes in europe.

...

See US salaries are much better. European salaries do go along with benefits like healthcare, pensions etc, but there are plenty of US jobs making far more. Basically it's like this: if you never can or never want to try to climb out of where you were born financially, Europe guarantees you stability, but if you want to climb the US is riskier but affords you genuine opportunity in terms of both salary and the ease of starting a business.

Often when you see "average salaries by country" they tell you just average salary of private sector workers who have full time employees. this salary seems to be almost always double the real median salary. kinda like how they do tricks with employment rates

Yes, true.

Also net median wealth per capita is much better measurement of wealth and well being than GDP

us looks pretty sad

>net_median_wealth_per_cap
this table can't be accurate

20% of Americans have a net worth below 0.
a full quarter own $10 or less.

get him to read Mr Money Moustache, read it yourself while you're at it.

Even if you are a bimbo you need to have a bit of a plan. Also please provide your major so we can further assist you maybe it's not that useless.

Why can't your big save money?

It's not that bad if you consider those are median net salaries, which means health care, shooling and retirement is already paid for.

On average the US citizens are richer than e.g. Germans for sure, but I'd argue there is much larger percentage of population in poverty in the US than in Germany.

Personally I prefer the American system, because I'm white and working male.

Clear short term debts like bank loans and credit card, pay your bills, and save some money. Look into index funds when you done that

you get huge bowling ball tits and have your BF pimp you out or start a fetish website where you service him or other men as a pet and your subscribers will give you money then next you will be a high end escort having the men who pay to fuck you also work for free in helping you make content for your site IE sucking off his load being a slave ect

Yeah, it's painful to realize your country is not what they tell you on TV...

Im in the same boat minus school. My wife and i have agreed to pay off all bad debt and she pretty much said piss the rest away trying to get rich. Long as we can go out sometimes and oay our bills i can risk wtf ever. Compromise is key. At some point he will have to come around. But until u get some assetts you can slowly work on him. Or stay seperate and u get rich while dating him. Up to u. After trying to get through to some friends i realised some are just to scared or dont understand. The rich life aint for all of us i guess.

Keep it up with thos financial books. Maybe take an accounting or economics class if u can. G2g work. L8er

Bevause obama and his faggot buddies are taking half of my paycheck and giving it to section 8 cucks...

>spends more on food than on rent
>mfw my rent is 800 and my food is at most 150, possibly more like 100, monthly

What the flying fuck do you eat?
And what does it matter if you're a fucking woman, that's totally irrelevant you stupid whore.

It's not. Women have different opportunities. Men can't get rich as camwhores or golddiggers.

Why do women centre everything in their lives around being a woman?
>how do I into making money as a woman
You never hear a man ask that. You can get all the same skills as a man, work the same job, earn the same salary. Yet you say >as a woman as if that makes it different for you. Mandatory quotas of women in the workplace are enforced making it even easier. What's the deal?

Successful woman here (26) on the path to early retirement. Assuming you're trying to do things the non-bimbo way first, some woman-oriented advice:

- Don't worry about your average looks unless your backup plan is to follow in your cousin's footsteps. If you're not hot now at 22, then you'll need to put in a lot more effort to be a "high class bimbo"--stripping is more forgiving. Makeup costs a ton of time and money that you could better spend learning and investing. You'll get better physical and mental effects going to the gym instead, and save on money/time just using a good BB cream as your makeup most days.

- If you have a good aptitude for computers, look into part-time IT work for your pocket money. The pay is good for something you don't need to go to school for (you can learn everything by googling it), and for whatever reason people tend to be impressed if you are a woman doing it.

- If your boyfriend can't change his paycheck to paycheck mentality, dump him. Eventually you'll waste a ton of your money on him out of love, even if it doesn't seem like a waste at the time. It's better to find someone who is with minimal debt and who has the same financial goals as you do. They don't need to be anywhere near wealthy (my husband had less than $2000 to his name when I met him), but they have to be willing to educate themselves and take responsibility for their finances. Do not share bank accounts or otherwise tie your finances together, decide on fair splits and pay them seperately. You can also go the non-boyfriend route while you're getting on your feet, which will save you lots of time/money/drama.

Otherwise it's the same as what most have already said. Read lots and lots of articles about budgeting and long-term investing. Get started ASAP. Lots of luck to you.

Denmark is one of the most taxed countries in the world. You walk home with less and everything costs more. Pretty sure all of western yurop has high tax rates than USA.

t. Britbong

i have very cheap rent and the food is relatively the same price all over the world so it's actually a significant portion of my expenses.

>And what does it matter if you're a fucking woman, that's totally irrelevant you stupid whore.
you really lost track of who is who user. your spaghetti also spilled.

I am a millionaire.
If you're good looking, you can come into my harem.
Will provide adequate shelter, a warm bed, clean showers and baths, enough pocket money and freedom, in exchange for long, sweaty, sex, massages and cooking services.
Doesn't matter where you live, I can send a plane

>If your boyfriend can't change his paycheck to paycheck mentality, dump him
strong woman advice right there.

well it makes sense. a girl that spends every last dime of her paycheck and leeches on me for the rest of the month is not a keeper.

Can you please suggest good BB creams?

Inb4 some anons make cum jokes.

billionaire here. i can provide all he is providing except everything will be covered in gold (including my cock)

No it isn't. You're retarded

>be me
>have house
>worth 400k
>mortgage 400k
>net worth 0
>enjoy house for 30 years while building equity
You're not a bright one are you?
Net median wealth also doesn't account for cost of living or taxes. There's no fucking way the well being of someone in Greece is better than someone in the U.S. or Germany based on this metric.

>inb4 moving the goal post including but not limited to : hurr durr value of the house goes down, taxes on houses too, cherry picking Greece - what about norway!, butt hurt aren't we? lololololol

Not to mention the idea that the average Australian is worth $200k USD is fucking absurd. All it means is that there are fewer people proportional to the country's total wealth.

Or the number of dirty children they have to drain resources. I don't even know what they mean by wealth? Is it household net wealth? If so do they count businesses? Maybe the US has more of their money in a business instead of dollarydoos

In addition, even if the chart means what that faggot closet redditor wants to think it means, there's nothing to say it's a good measure of well being let alone better than GDP.

eg.
>be me have 1 ton of corn, but only want half, need half ton of wheat
>be you, have 1 ton of wheat but only need half, want half ton of corn
>both cost the same
>no debt, lots of wealth, but half useless
>shit govt prevents trade because lolololol
>0 gdp
>different govt who's a bro
>trade half ton of corn for half ton of wheat
>gdp increases
>wealth not increased
>better well being

This is literally why dumb dumbs rule the world. They spout a modicum of data and a sound bite that sounds good and confirms already preconceived notions. Then it takes walls of text and making it into a bitch fest to prove otherwise.
