I'm wary of the Alloytecs. The timing chain loves to shit itself and stretch and it's a $2,000-$2,500 job for a new one.
The Commies I've seen have had them shit themselves from 100,000km to 150,000km. There's been a few that supposedly went even earlier apparently (60,000km).
That said, you can get the updated VE series 2 chain which lasts a lot longer.

Oddly enough I just bought this exact head unit for my WRX, built like a tank and has great functionality. Mind you the face is as wide as a double din slot so if your fascia isn't full width you'll need an angle grinder, or at least that's what I did anyway.
I would happily recommend an XAV68bt for non rice tier aftermarket headunit. And they are on sale at JB.

I put one in my s15 about a month ago. It's great.

300ZX are absolute pains in the ass to work on and (perhaps because of this) the VG doesn't really have any easy power mods.

The supra, on the other hand, hauls ass in stock form and is incredibly easy to modify for big power. Intercooler and exhaust already put you up over 250rwkw. It also has one of, if not the best manual gearboxes ever made.

They get noisy and just before they let go they go into limp mode.

As he said, newer V6 commodore engines are absolute heaps of shit. Timing CHAIN replacement at 80,000kms on my mates.
He sold it a week later, for obvious reasons.

Just get a single din and put a storage bin thing under it.

Apparently it will get louder and louder as it gets worse. It's still much better than a timing belt though, timing belts don't have warning signs and just snap and fuck the engine.
