Didn't they change them to be more "use a random assortment of spells to charge your blade then use it" instead of the spam 1? Are they still repetitive despite of it?
Can't comment on the /wrpg/ since I'm not a regular, but it seems nice I suppose, not many places on Veeky Forums you can discuss older RPG's.

They did change it, but the spirit blade is still your best damage dealer. Basically, the gameplay is "use whatever spell you can to charge up your blade as fast as possible, then go button mash. repeat"

You can do a shitload of damage with the spirit blade, if you spec it right. It's just that you'll be doing the same thing for the rest of the game
Also you get a ring that literally gives you sneak attack crits

Users of the dark side are dark jedi, members of the order of the sith are Sith-Something or eventually Darth. But being dark side doesn't automatically mean being a sith. Like Kylo Ren in Ep7 isn't a sith because the order of the sith is gone and lost.

So I tried dragon age 2 and inquisition, and I'm not saying they're bad games but it really feels like bioware started moving away from origins design to more "marketable" gameplay. so basically what are some games like or as good as dragon age origins because the sequels sure as hell ain't either.
