Getting a big chunk of money this week and already have a decent amount saved away...

Actually the 4 second 0-60 is with the coup, the convertible weighs a lot more and air does not pass as well over a soft top as it does a hard top so you will be lucky to get a 5 second 0-60 faggot. Anyway how much money you get and how you get it?

GM is claiming 4s flat with the convertible too and reviewers have pegged it just below 4.1 seconds. The convertible only weighs a bit more due to stolen Cadillac aluminum witchcraft if you physically disconnect the fabric and the way the modified the structure makes it so the folding mechanism and reinforcements lay directly above the rear wheels so the weight gain goes towards added grip.

I'm getting about $19 grand from Selling my old car, withdrawing some investments, getting some disputed backpay from a previous job, some money from grandparents for helping them out a lot recently (probably going to set this aside for the future though) and I've been setting aside 10% of my paychecks since 2013 for this exact purpose. It's just all coming together within a 12 day span.

Why get a new Camaro when you can get a C6 Corvette for the same price?

You'll be able to beat GT-Rs

nice

glad to see your plans come to fruition

I'm actually cross shopping this with C6 & C7 vettes, but I use rear seats pretty often, they're more expensive to maintain and I plan on keeping this for 20+ years.

That Camaro isn't going to last 20 years.

It'd be lucky to see 10 or even 5 years because nobody on this board knows how to keep a car alive for that long.

Most people on this board leave their check engine light on for months, think a base Civic is a legitimately fast car and don't know how to use an OBD II scanner. I don't think I'm average.

Wtf does that even mean to put down for a car?

Like really who says this?

I bet a bot made this thread

Corvettes are not really that maintenance extensive nor are parts that costly. Corvette tax really only applies to aftermarket parts which is expected as they have lower volume and even then, it isn't absurd.

C5 corvettes are actually GOAT commuters and hit 28-30+ MPG no problem.

It means down payment, typically 20-50% of the cars cost.
