The problem is the "real men ride liter bikes" and "gear is for pussies" mentalities. 60Mph on a Honda Grom is not considered respectable for every day use even though most speed limits are under 50 mph. They're just daft. They're obsessed with big bikes but the gold wing being one of the biggest bikes is hated. Appearently if you ride a liter bike and never pass 10° lean you're more of a man than if you ride a 250 and grind the pegs over here in the states
