I had been browsing Veeky Forums for a while in 2013 but I didn't know about /tesg/. I didn't know about mods either so my first two playthroughs back in 2012 were 100% vanilla

Orcfus are the best.

My first "playthrough" of Skyrim was literally with:

Shitty Realvision
Bandolier mod
Pure Weathers
Some weapon mods

And that's about it. Didn't know about body mods, didn't know about any good armor mods. Most of my game was vanilla. I also used NMM as well.

I used NMM once in early 2013, when I found out about that Tropical Skyrim thingy. I installed it with NMM and when I launched the game everything was so fucked up I uninstalled Skyrim and didn't touch it again after a few months later, and that's probably when I arrived here.

Gameplay/Story segregation probably. Harkon can instantly transport to his blood fountain and heal himself and become impervious to all forms of attack unless you use the bow. Also it would probably be a suicide mission for the Dawnguard to just go in without a plan, especially when they aren't at full strength
