Everyone thinks an S13. Try finding one.

old bimmer

ke70 sr20det I see plenty for sale for fairly cheap and they look fun

LOL

This, E36 / E30 / E46 are cheap as chips everywhere and have easy parts swapping

what's wrong with that? they seem fun and seen a couple go alright

Lol yeah. Haven't seen one in my area in a minute. Maybe I should look on the west coast?

I love e30s but I've only seen one hardtop 325i e30 m3 in my area in my whole life.

silvias, skylines (r31s are cheap), jzx, e30

cheap, plentiful cars that would be good for an introduction to drifting:
Ford Mustang
Chevrolet Camaro
Pontiac Firebird
Ford Crown Victoria
Mercury Grand Marquis
Lincoln Town Car
BMW E36
BMW E46
Pontiac Solstice
Saturn Sky
Nissan 350Z
Mazda MX-5 Miata
Infiniti G35
Toyota Supra (MK3. Fuck the MK4)
Lexus SC300
Lexus SC400

Honda Accord

get out

$5,500 AUD
sr20det
its fucking sick

...

get an old minitruck, take the bed off and add some hard leafspings

there, oversteer for days for less than 4k

some even have a v8 for cheap power

>mini truck
>more than 100hp
>engine that can make any power at all above 3500rpm
Yeah no dude

Ke70s with SR20DETs just waiting to be picked up cheap in America? That's my doubt, otherwise good little cars.

yeah in the US not really, but in some parts of Europe they're a dime a dozen or getting abit rarer in the UK

E36. 325+ for dry road, 318+ in the wet. Compact is best, then sedan, tgen coupe, the conv.

Would it be too much to import a left hand drive e30?

>furfaggot being a retard

Yeah dude

>thinking that has the stock motor

mx-5 or e36 if you want something that you can actually repair, pick up for cheap and learn to drift in.

Puffy Volvo

Are you fucking retarded? There's entire series in the california desert for drifting shit little stock trucks lmfao. Like literally Riverside alone is absurdly into this shit. Pretty much everyone there that's not a 'bruh 909 lift mob-dez bruh' either builds little drift truck or shitty hatchbacks from the 80's and 90's lol

are you retarded?
Dude just said popping the bed off your minitruck turns it into a drift truck.
I own and a mini truck and I literally popped the bed off it to try and do sick skids and it still couldn't do jack shit.
Truck motors are low rpm high torque, they aren't made for that shit.
They also respond terribly to mods, good luck getting any power out of a 22r.

>my one example of a mini truck with grippy tires doesn't do it, so none of them can and there's no way anyone else could figure it out!

That's you, that's how dumb you sound.

You clearly no nothing about 20rs lol

This user said what I wanted to. Your experience with your truck completely nullifies the existence of an entire racing series literally built on drifting stock minitrucks? Are you one of those 'I've never seen the great wall with my own eyes, so it doesn't exist' kinds of people?

How does it feel to be this retarded?

>>hurrdurr truck moturz can't dorifto

So you're saying the s13 can't drift?

Shitty 4 cyl truck motors ain't gonna drift, you're gonna need a swap.

So they are shitty in trucks but they are better in a heavier car?

Anything
>RWD
>Manual
>Cheap

You're gonna fuck up your first drift car atleast a few times, Don't get something expensive, or expensive to repair, beyond that you just need something with enough power to keep spinning the wheels.

>implying you need a stock motor

literally all you need is a smaller final gear

>lifted, massive offroad tires, stock leafspings
you are a dumb furfaggot

MR2 turbo

>Maybe I should look on the west coast?
>for a 240sx

It doesn't even need to be RWD

OP could go with civic

Or a Prelude.

Maybe an older one like 3G.

An MX-6 would work too.

>crown vic
>drifting

its auto only, you aren't drifting you're just understeering

it's clear from that dude's post that he does not know what the fuck he is talking about, he is just listing random RWD cars

>he fell for the "drifting will make you cool" meme

>friend wants to get into drifting
>tell him to buy a beater 240sx
>"naw man i want it to be Clean as fuck"
>try to convince friend to buy beater AGAIN
>he ends up buying a Mint 240sx for 6k
>first month of having it he tries to practice his drifting
>rear tire pops, spins out and slsm into a wall ass first
>car is Totaled
>only had Liability

Moron

The D21 has nearly the exact same fucking motor as a Silvia, you dense motherfucker.

comes with a single jingle KA24 that 240sx's come with.
plus i see an intercooler so probably a KA-T or a duel cam swap with some boost.

See them pop up all over around club loose north for bottom dollar missles since drift tax has non running s13s & s14s over the $2k mark

>muh all wheel drive
>muh losing all grip on the front tires from constant abuse

how's gripping on corners doing ya bud

manual swaps have been done. They're not good for professional drifting because of how heavy they are, but a manual swapped one is a good beginners drift car for learning how to drift.

If you go to a performance driving school, a lot of times, they'll teach you to drift in a Crown Vic. The long wheelbase makes it easy to control and predictable.

>240sx
Assuming american, just get an old mustang or camarobird

>its auto only, you aren't drifting you're just understeering
There is an entire drifting series in japan solely for automatic cars
