question about skyrim. im goin for max magic resist. is 85% still the cap and 95% only works for one element? im playin a breton with lord stone, mara blessing and 2 points of mage armor in the alteration tree. is using the third point wasted then or can i reach 95% with no enchants?

To make a custom body shape, you either need CBBE or UNP. I assume you don't use both, so which is better? I notice a lot of stuff requires CBBE.

Then if I don't use a custom race, changing body types for your character will change all of the NPC's too, right? Is there like a blank slate custom race mod or do I just download some race I don't care about and then edit from there?

Then for faces you're supposed to use RaceMenu? I tried the sculpting tool for a minute but that was intimidating, do most people use presets?

I hear Sexlab is for sexy times, or is it just a framework? Do I need to install a bunch of animations to get Sexlab going? Then what's this OSA thing? Is it a competitor or stand alone?

I'll figure out clothes and stuff later I guess, but right now I just want to play around with the character editor to make a waifu.

UNP is better than CBBE. Higher poly, more armor options, better texture options, etc

yeah but if you're lazy you can do things like just edit your armor and your base body, everyone else will look normal in their armor and only look like you when nude. Check out Custom Races for a blank slate.

Sculpting is easy. You can use Racemenu or ECE, ECE fastracks animu faces, if you don't want animu use racemenu. Some people start with presets and build, some don't.

Sexlab is a framework for sex mods. You need sex mods beyond sex lab to actually make it happen. OSA is an alternative framework for all animations, not just sex animations. It's superior to sexlab but very new so most things aren't compatible with it yet.
