You can actually invade their cities and kill their npcs and level in horde areas (even though all the npcs will be hostile ot you).

The game is essentially a solo RPG now so you shouldn't have too much trouble. If you're running some of the older raids on your own you might have to bring a buddy due to some fucked mechanics if you don't feel like slogging through some RNG (Chess event at kara for example) but otherwise you should be okay. If you're just talking about dungeons and overworld quests you shouldn't have any trouble at all.

Technically the game is still heavily into group stuff, swtor is a real game that is mostly solo

Take everything here with a grain of salt for two reasons

We don't have artifacts, we aren't 110, on top of that the launch of expansions usually feature tuning related to specs if they are underperforming. It's the whole point of delaying the raids. Most opinions right now are formed as of pre-patch meaning they are not complete. You get a good feel for how the class is going to play currently but it's not the final appearance.

Secondly viability is a shitty argument, for normal and heroic raids its more important you aren't a fucking idiot and can stay alive as opposed necessarily to the damage you are putting out. FOTM shitters that die standing in fire because their eyes are glued to damage meters will infinitely be more annoying than someone who may not be playing the FOTM class but is actually doing their best to perform to the classes strengths.

That's my opinion.

You don't really notice it when soloing with a DK because there's a mob around every corner. But the moment you do 5 mans or pvp it becomes so terrible you just have to log off and hop on that warrior.
