I'd say it depends on the BR you playing. There is no nation that is the best on every BR.

Claps are the clubber tier nation on Br 3.0-4.0
Every plane you fly in that range is undertiered and could easily compete at a higher BR.
However they struggle hard between the 4.3-6.0 range.

Brits dominate the 5.0-6.3 BR range.Clubfire with 4 Hispanos and Tempests are just crazy good.

Soviets & Germans have their best BR range from 2.0 to 5.0. You only have good planes in that range.
While soviets have nothing over 5.0 except for the La 9. The Germans still have good planes, but they are simply outclassed by the brit planes.

Japs club everything from 3.0 till 6.3 if you know how to use your plane.

You can try it but you will be clubbed. Getting from AB to RB is a hard step because you actually need knowledge about planes, maneuvers & tactics. You can't just move your mouse like crazy when somebody is on your tail.

Also you need awareness. In my first RB mattles I was flowing and out of nowhere I suddenly get boom'n'zoomed. Pretty frustrating when you were flying for about 10 minutes into battle.

they don't want to invest the massive amounts of resources actual ships would require, after the massive downhill tumble the player count has been taking the past year

so instead they're giving you tiny coast guard boats and hope to wrap up and abandon WT development by the end of 2017

I have 2:1 K:Ds in both A-5s, but that's mostly because the enemies are retarded, not because their planes are shit.

the average retard also does better in the A-5 than most other planes due to the amount of guns and decent armoring it has, you can easily get a pretty good k:d just by doing head-ons
