That's actually a 1000 criticism.
The 1000 has a very small but long crevice between the grey plastic and the front plastic in which dust and other shit could get caught between.

while thats true, dust hasnt gathered in there for me, but my 2000 gets dust on the crevice around the screen. i keep them in the same place so it seems the 2k has it noticeably worse
