With DI I'm fine with them bringing over the all ages release because there is additional content in replace of the H but with Baldr Sky there is no all ages release so they're just cutting content of the 18+ without replacing it with anything. Has that ever happened before? We would have to start paying the same ridiculous prices that the Japanese fans pay to get the eroge companies to start adding in additional features for English releases. Right now I feel like the Japanese companies are just trying to dump the English versions of these eroge onto the Steam market since they can do it so cheaply re-releasing a product that was finished and released in Japan years ago.

Re-using old assets and poorly porting something across the Atlantic will just lead to a lot of enemies made.

While their at it why don't they re-draw the assets and release a definitive edition for the Japs as well. They could make money both sides of the world with a good remake.

They were pushing that it was done by the Zero Escape series and Infinity series guys for Root Double and even then it had to struggle quite a bit for it to be backed. Only started to really look like it was going to be funded during the last third.

I think people are just tired of being told to fork over money for something that isn't yet done. You could say Sekai basically poisoned the well in regards of that.
Though at the same time it also gives the impression that either they don't have the funds or aren't confident enough on sales that they need people to fund it first.

The sales don't reflect the kickstarter success in many cases though...

That might be down to merchandise which you usually struggle to get later. A fair few people back kickstarters just because of the extras like wall scrolls/posters or the physical copies they get.

Trying to use ExtractData to retrieve sprites from a VN.

I used Kikiriki to retrieve the tlg files. Then I'm trying to use ExtractData to convert the tlgs, but it doesn't fucking work. I try to open the file with ExtractData and literally nothing happens

I also tried to use ExtractData on the xp3 file. This time it opens up fine but when I try to extract a tlg file (while using conversion) it crashes. If I don't use conversion it extracts fine.
