Hello, /csgog/. I'm a Psychology major and I've been analyzing the CS:GO community for the past 6 months. Here is my first draft of my scientific results and psychological profiles of the 5 matchmaking ranks: Keep in mind, these results are not calibrated with age in mind. So if you are underage these results do not apply to you.
>silver - below average IQ (70-80) - oblivious to its immense lacking game skills - low self-confidence - very poor social skills (potential sociopathic tendencies??)
>nova - about average IQ (100) - low to medium self-confidence - poor social skills (-> beta animals) - tries to compensate for lack of game skills with premium cosmetics (e.g. weapon skins, also applicable to eagle and above ranks, exception: compensation of self-confidence) - quits playing the game early due to frustration (~ 300 hours)
>master guardian - above average IQ (120) - average to above average self-confidence - very likely a normal person with healthy lifestyle (girlfriend, athletic...) - quits the game after a healthy game hour total (~500 hours) - doesn't buy game cosmetics (understands the meaningless aspect of pixel economy)
>eagle - average IQ (100) - loner in real life, very possibly no sexual experience (-> nova mentality) - in game hour is getting dangerously close to addiction region (~above 1500 hours) - difference to nova: unhealthy game time overcompensates lack of intelligence (-> "aim monkey - experimented with hacks game enhancing tools (hacks) at least once before
>global elite - compensation of lack of social success with unhealthy investment into CS:GO (also applicable to a lower extent to eagle ranks) - varying IQ (average for hacker, above average for professional gamer) - 3000+ hours (addict for life unless treated) - regular use of game enhancement tools (hacks) (unless pro gamer) - great aim and great game IQ (unless using enhancements) - absolute failure in real life (unless pro gamer)

Seriously. I understand autos dominating in higher ranks but for last round of a match when I have 16k cause we've been stomping the other teams ass, there is nothing wrong with using auto for ONE round.
It's a perfectly balanced weapon and you can't prove otherwise. The only people who hate it are retarded "rush B every round" fuckheads.
