I wouldn't say this episode was shit, it's just that it had to tie up the most boring plot point instead of the Game or whatever the hell's happening in Jabberwock Island.

Personally it was just a collection of letdowns. One of the majors being how much I really disliked the newest DR3 episode, but that was the cherry on top of my bad couple of day.

It's gotten better though.

Emotional issues + bad episode = not a good tokoposter day that bled into my work today.

Guess I'm in the minority on this episode...I really thought it was good even though it was very fanservicey, teased me a ton, and ended on a frustrating cliffhanger.

I enjoyed it for what it was.

The plus on my end is that I got a bunch of cute Monaca images to use, but...

Like what Toko said I felt like they jerked up around. AE was my favorite in the series (something not a lot of people do even like) and I felt like it was wasted on a fart-joke and a space-van.

Even though I haven't seen it all...it is fucked up...

I see where you're coming from but I thought it kinda fit in with Monaca's character description of "like Junko but more childish." I do hope they do something with the concept of "Monaca in space" and don't just write it off as a joke.

I get the idea that it was more of a child trying to be more like their idol, but when faced with maturity and an upbringing that doesn't paint the entire ordeal in a prettier picture, they'll be more comfortable with just saying "fuck it."

Yeah, I feel like they wasted potential and decided it was just easier to just get the character to "I must go now, my planet needs me" and fucks off.
On top of people being really transfixed on the fart joke to a weird (well, not really) level. I dunno, felt like they didn't go far enough and just kicked the episode out before it was ready.

Now that you mention it, it kind of feels like they pulled the rug out from under us twice in a row. "Well that AE stuff was going nowhere, here's a cliffhanger for the killing game okay bye"

It also diminished all threat and... really anything about Monaca. I adored how much of an evil shithead she is, but they diminished that hard. As the resident Monoca-user, it hurt me a bit in the heart.
