His passive is actually fucking ridiculous if you can get your team to push. All you need is one pickoff and he hits super fucking hard since you'll already have bonus damage from neutrals.

Being decent in LoL does not necessarily make you decent in Dota, and spamming only one hero when you're new it's the worst way to get into the game.

Well, I considered KotL might have her covered a bit much. Perhaps make Spark something like Heavenly Chains instead and make it disarm instead of blind?

I also didn't want to make the shield too strong. 400/500 bonus damage absorption is kind of a lot on its own, plus a 20% movespeed slow any time on being attacked while she's ulted.

Heavenly Palm, active - Strikes the earth, raising the terrain by 1 level within a 425 AoE granting all the benefits of high ground evasion, vision and fog of war. Can connect to terrain of the same level if within the AoE. Also deals 100/125/175/225 damage. The formation lasts 3/4/5/6 seconds and Ender has unobstructed movement within the AoE. There are no paths/stairs if enemies are caught unless it connects to another leveled terrain.

Battleground, passive- Ender gains bonuses depending on the elevation of his terrain.

Dota was literally made by a bunch of guys in their parent's house for free in their spare time.
The fact people want to make up heroes in their parent's house for free in their spare time shouldn't really be that surprising.

Plus, I've read a couple decent ideas for a hero before that I wouldn't mind in the game. If there is one thing Dota lacks, it's variety in disables.
There's only one hero that can interrupt lifesteal or health regeneration/healing. Technically Omniknight could make an enemy spell immune so his team couldn't heal him but that's super niche .
Only one hero has a mute.
Only a couple heroes have blinds.
Only one hero in the game has a shield.

Dota has lots of stuns, lots and lots of stuns, plenty of nukes, tons of DoT. But in regards to terrain changing or more niche forms of disables there's not many.
