It's less that and more the fact that it was implemented really poorly. Especially when you look at Gordias, where the Normal modes were literally braindead easy, and the Savage modes (barring 3 and the legit non-sac method for 4) were just the same + more.

Avatarfagging has lost it's meaning in this general, it's used as a term for anyone that posts their character no matter what the content. There's at best two avatarfaggers in the entire general. Chemo is in it for attention as the other user stated. If he were truly interested in upholding the rules he wouldn't break at least 6 of them every time he posts.

normal difficulty midas is still pretty braindead, at best only a little harder than an expert dungeon, and only because expert dungeons are the new braindead.
the bar needs to be set at coil difficulty for normal mode at the very least.
The problem with that split is that it has two extremes: braindead easy, and poorly implemented punishment. There needs to be something more for the midcore audience, which has been left in the dust because of SE sucking casual dick while trying to appease the hardcore raiders at the same time.

I absolutely 100% agree with this sentiment. Binding/Second Coil really had a very good level of difficulty to it, I feel. I'm glad that Midas Savage returned to SCoB-levels of difficulty, because that shows that like Labyrinth to Weeping City, it's not just a once-off fluke of design.

I switched internet providers the exact same time the maintenance hit, and for some reason windows considers the network "public" whereas the previous one was set as "private". Of course my firewall exception was was only enabled for private networks.
