She is pretty week desu, she the worst hunter right now. You can still do damage by face rolling dash into spray/buff really quickly, but that invests everything into trying to blow someone up and most hunters will just CC you or use their better steroid.

I take Warrior Boots, Qins, Executioner and the rest being Crits and it feels like I at most only tickle even the squishiest characters.

No her base stats are fine. Her steroid is mathematically the weakest of any hunter, and her dash is easily cucked, not to mention anyone with a brain can cuck her ult. She just has a weak kit. It's too bad, because her sfx are really satisfying and her model is neat and her VA is GOAT. But her kit sucks.

The kit is part of that. All hunters are not created equal. When Apollo can mez you, Ullr can stun you and leap better than your dash, and any of them have a steroid that makes their basics better than yours, she doesn't compete.

week n+1: patch note
week n+2: patch
week n+3: god release patch note
week n+4: god release

There are some exception, for example last december they didn't release any god.

What is the best way for going as a hunter who relys on basic attack? Nearly maxing out attack speed relying on stuff like Qins and Odysseus to do the dmg or to hit slow but hard going full crit and pen?

haven't built pen in a while and I haven't had many problems. The bigger obstacle is really getting good at reading jukes. Because the second you let someone get inside melee range, you're pretty much ded.

A very few of them will swap out two items. Basically this build is viable enough to take it on any god, and then next game you can decide what to swap out based on what you feel you need more of.

Vamana should be life steal immune during his ult.

A few examples of how to trade out an item.
Anhur, Hou Yi, Apollo, and Rama can change the Titans Bane into an Executioner. Artemis, Jing, and Neith can afford to change the order of the last three to WindD>Poison>sell ichi for Malice, skipping Qinns.
