Bought a 2015 that we thought was a 2016

So I went shopping for a car with my girlfriend and two children. Long story short, I was chasing the kids around the whole time and somehow we overlooked that the car was a 2015. We asked to see new Toyota Siennas at a Toyota dealership and the “new” one that had the color and features we wanted was a 2015 I guess. We signed the paperwork and paid the price, somehow overlooking the 2015.
Had we known it was a year old model we would have at least asked for a better price. What should we do now?

>having kids
You dun goofed

>not hiring a babysitter so you can car shop in peace
Dumbass.

Sell it and buy an suv holy fuck a sienna? Atleast get an Odyssey they are way better.
Does your wife get blacked by jamal?

Well obviously...

Looked at the Odyssey, Why's it better? Liked the Sienna because it had more leg room and better adjustable seats, and slightly better consumer reports.

And for big SUVs I'd rather not pay and extra 20k to get something just so that it doesn't look like a minivan

Please verify you're not a cuck before I post a serious response.

They're my kids, and I have sex with my girlfriend? The minivan is the car shes going to be driving.

Why get an SUV? Unless you are going on rough roads or snow all the time, there's no real advantage and plenty of disadvantages.

thecarconnection.com/car-compare-results/honda_odyssey_2015-vs-toyota_sienna_2015

keep in mind they are showing the base model odyssey.
odyssey has double wish bone suspension and the sienna has a torsion beam rear suspension
odyssey has better safety ratings and more horsepower
better fuel economy

>implying the only reason you would get an suv is to go on rough roads and snow
>no real advantages
>plenty of disadvantages
confirmed cuckold.

>They're my kids
Thank you. Now why didn't you read the contract before you signed. You just got dinged for an extra year of depreciation. Does your state allow new car returns?

>Does your state allow new car returns?
I live in California, I'm not sure. I will try looking

You have 2 kids you don't need a minivan
Could have gotten something better than a cuckmobile

It will be 3 kids by the end of the year, all in carseats

Check buyer remorse laws

The kids are not well-behaved that day if they needed to be chased down all the time. But other car buying advice articles have said to leave the kids at home when buying.

I don't see anything. There's a 2 day cool down period for used cars, I don't see anything about rescinding a contract on a new car.

meh

you should have bought a Chrysler Pacifica

Suv looks better and they're still sort of fun to drive. That's enough reason for me.

People keep using the word cuckold, that very clearly have no idea what it means. When did it become the new insult of choice on Veeky Forums?

This tph desu.

By new, they mean no one has ever owned it before. It's just a leftover 2015.
Do you know what the difference between the 2015 Sienna and the 2016 Sienna is?
The model year and that's it. Enjoy your reliable new minivan

A bit after it became the insult of choice on /pol/.

>Suv looks better and they're still sort of fun to drive.
>a Toyota minivan
>sort of fun to drive
admit it, your wife made you buy that minivan just because it's a standard for families to buy minivans

Shut up. If you need a minivan but buy a crossover or suv you're a faggot with image problems.

>odyssey has better safety ratings and more horsepower
>more horsepower
>MORE

Actually she wanted an SUV and I told her we should get a minivan for various reasons people already posted on here.

Update: We talked to the manager and told them what happened. They are letting us return the 2015 and get a 2016

Also we found someone to watch the kids when we go back in this time.

Good for you. There's nothing wrong with the Sienna. It's a fantastic minivan and definitely a better choice than a CUV.

>ITT gaga trying to bencheace a sienna and odyssey completely missing the point of both of those vehicles
Vans are top comfort

In CA, if you've signed and taken delivery, which means driving it off the lot, you're stuck with it. That said, even if it's a 2015, so what? Still new, and unless the 2016 is significantly better somehow, which I highly doubt, just chalk it up as a lesson learned and move on.

Just saw this. Stealership is actually being very cool with you. Best of luck

Enjoy your cuck box faggot, at least have some fucking dignity.

If the car is brand new what's the problem?

>What should we do now?
re-evaluate every decision you ever made in life

the sienna has no torque and shit fuel economy

The moment you buy a minivan is the moment you begin to grow old and die.

I was pointing out how the fag i replied to said the odyssey has more horsepower but the review he linked to clearly posts the sienna has more. I dont really have an opinion or care either way in this pointless fight its just funny that these fucking retards will ignore facts when they shitpost. Bottom line is these 2 vans ARE THE FUCKING SAME

It's part of what I call the Unholy Trinity - Mortgage, Marriage, Minivan

It's the Death before Death, when you stop living and give up.

What the fuck is wrong with you people?
Minivans are the sexiest cars on the road.
>Yes.
>Look at me!
>Mine works!
>Look how many children I have!

you beta fuck I have two kids and they all ride with me and my wife in my k24 rs6 turbo b5 s4 they love the boost 27 psi ;) I love watching their faces as I do a 2-4 pull

confirmed cuck

>Allowing other people to watch your children
>B..but my background checks
Not unless you have a crystal ball user.

What site is that?

Its what the previous guy linked to. www.thecarconnection.com apparently

A 1 year-old "new" car can be had for ~25% off MSRP.

Recently bought a Lexus GS350 AWD 2015 for a quarter off MSRP. Did some googling when I was negotiating for it over a period of weeks and found others who said about 20-25% as well.

Thankfully the dealership is being nice to you, they coulda shafted you.
