You severly underestimate how much text there is to translate.

It's a store exclusive I believe, so you have to buy the game from that store to get that poster.

A single dedicated person can translate a fuckton of text in a single day.
Assuming each sentence of text takes about two or thee minutes to translate, an entire team of 10 or so people could easily translate the entire thing in less than a week.

It's fucking 40 hours of story that they need to translate that also needs to go through extra checks to make sure that it's not faulty. Then you have the entire Library full of shit, then 3 Arcade Modes, and then extra stuff for other modes and winscreens. All of that needs to go through checks, and japanese isn't exactly a language that's easy to translate. Many things don't translate fully to english, so the translator has to take liberties at times but that also means asking for permission and shit.

Again, you're severely understimating how much it takes to translate these things. This goes double for franchises that aren't exactly super popular in the west so they don't have a massive workforce on it.

Not if the voice talent have busy schedules which they probably do, this is a 40+ hour storymode along with all the other stuff they have to voice, and when you go on to think about how many characters need to be voiced I can see why it would take the time it does, when you consider that the VA's have schedule they have to maintain.

Ps4 netcode was ass, they might fix it for CF, but PS3 is the way to go, as there will be crossplay probably

This, it's been up shit creek since Continuum Shift 2 and extend and with the rush job that was Chronophantasma's dub I can't blame them for giving up. Through it's a shame I won't be able to hear Es speak english or Izanami fighting in english with that crazy voice of hers or any more english Kajun. The one that hurts the most is not hearing Ragna and Noel's english voices for what could be the last game with them as the center piece. I wonder if the hopes for a Vita port are dead now.
