At least they're reusing Bloodborne assets now instead of depleting what was left of DS1, and the music is pretty hype. Boss with lordvessel looking thing is probably the most interesting part.

Yeah I'm having the same issue. I watched the TOH trailer over and over just because all the new stuff they showed looked so good. This I might watch a couple of times just to see if there was anything I missed but that's about it.

the new armor set came straight from another game, and the area is hardly anything we haven't seen already. Someone already pointed out that it's taking its cues from Ariamis and Iron Keep.

In the vanilla game, there are two areas with tons of references that you can't visit: Londor, and the Painted World. Angels aren't a separate location, don't have much commentary on them, and by all appearances were mostly stamped out as a heretical faith.

Also, Gertrude is dead and you loot her corpse for Divine Pillars of Light.

I'm fighting the Nameless King for the umpteenth time. He has one fourth of his health left, and I'm gulching down my last Estus. Surely I can't win this. But then I see it; he's winding up for a lightningbolt - the perfect opening. I hack away at him, my heart pounding out of my fucking chest. The bolt finally comes, and I dodge it perfectly. Just one more attack to go.
I land the final attack and hear that sweet sound of success. But shit, wait a second. In that exact same moment, he lands a killing blow on me. I die. HE dies. As he falls to his knees, "YOU DIED" appears on my screen and loading ensues. WHAT WILL HAPPEN NOW? Did it count? Won't it? Will the game crash or something?

Then my character wakes up, and the cutscene plays. HOLY SHIT, I think, I did it! I beat the Nameless King!
But then it hits me. He beat me too.
