/ddg/ what's the best looking set in the PC version to use that looks Paladin-ish? I'm super bummed they removed the White Eagle chest since that was my go-to and I really don't like the scales that are on Gryphic Armor. I like the Divine Surcoat but I wish I could have some plated chest armor that didn't look all weird and evil looking.

Let your Pawns go in first, use Go if you have to. Kill what you can kill, anything that flees will die sooner or later after you thinned out the crowd.

You have to stay mobile and keep aware of what enemies are doing. Part of it is having a good team of pawns that won't crumple when push comes to shove to keep some of the enemies off you, but you can't expect a tank to keep an entire group's attention in this. You have to maintain the right distance from your foes, then close in for the kill when they make a mistake.

If the issue is that you're getting surrounded not because you aren't keeping appropriate distance, but because your targets take too long to kill, then you probably need better equipment.

Finally found some pawns that are actually helpful - the hammer wielder is only three levels higher than me (19>21) and he doesn't die to anything holy shit.

Thanks for the advice, at least I'm not getting my shit pushed in as much. I think I overextended myself into the western part of the map or something. also sheltered stab takes more stamina than I thought when used in succession but it's still highly useful. Love that the combat actually draws from real world techniques - this game is basically all I've ever wanted since I first played an elder scrolls title.

Do bandits scale with your level or something? I hardly had difficulty when I was entering the area, and that was with some borderline useless pawns.

I usually play 2 handed fighters, but all I've heard about Warriors is bad. Are they really as unfun as I've read?

You'll do fine in the Overworld aka Gransys. It just gets a bit of "fuck you up the ass" tier in BBI as you'll be always at an disadvantage. More power to you though if you can GUTS all the way through, the proper way to hard mode.

Warriors are great, really great but I think they get a hard time because only 3 skills and in BBI they aren't as OP as some classes. Also hard mode increases enemies stagger resist by quite alot and that makes one of the Warriors main things useless

Saving Grace should have been the holy longsword instead of Dwells in Light.

There's nothing really wrong with Warriors except flying enemies and magical enemies, and you need to abuse a skill with I-Frames

How's the damage with the warriors pommel bash when clinged to bigger enemies?

Also; I got into BBI as a ranger/assassin, then got kinda burned out at around the beholder dude, so I was considering starting again as a magick class. Which is the most fun, in your opinion? I know you should play as a sorcerer for a bit anyways for the stat growth and augments, but I remember the creators of the game also said they thought magick archer was the most fun class and everyone should try it out. I was thinking of trying all of this out in hardmode, too.
