trying to play GT4 with a fx-6300 and it keeps dropping to 50~40fps

Although I haven't had todo much, just make sure that you pick your Adapter off default into whatever GPU you have.

I made the mistake of leaving it on "default" which uses the CPU's default graphics chip. Other than that, look it up my man

AMD cpus are terrible for PS2 emu, sorry. I mean, you'll play MGS or Persona flawlessly, but GT4 race with many opponents is somehow super demanding in emu.

Although it's not impossible. What is your clock? If you can go over 4.5GHz, you should be able to run most races properly, especially with speedhacks and one frame skipped

After the driver's had some tofu while squatting, we have agreed that this will be a no points race. Still, the races were fun and congrats to Kraid and Me for winning race 1 and 2 respectively.

Next week will be the official week 5, and it will be ran in Maze circuit, another tight track, but without any weird mid air chicanes, and after that, the 20(or 25 minute) okayama NIGHT BATTLE for round 6.
