If you have to ask, you can't do it.

Do the Opportunities then all the Career Agent missions; they give you ISK, ships, skillbooks and teach you basics. Talk to players and try to find a corp. The game is only as boring as you are.

plate rep

Taxation is theft.

I'll make a webm of the extremely basic version of the bot which I made while developing it

Wait a sec, the video has a debugger window telling you exactly everything that happens with the code

Just trade in my near-taxfree citadel in perimeter goy.

youtube.com/watch?v=ExWfh6sGyso

>Snuff

youtube.com/watch?v=qOd2AigOExI

>mfw snuffs living in aeschee now

Are the Caldari still the top-choice for most players?

>keepstar literally just disappears
So they never changed that after sisi? Lazy as fuck fags

...

M8 the game was shitting itself. Everyone was running potato graphics.

>mfw watching snuff ships

mfw they're failing miserably so far

Are you saying if I blow one up on sisi it's going to not just disappear? Because I really fucking doubt it.

>guy goes over my buy order by 20% because of a 19% higher buy order 14 jumps from Jita

So Caldari keep winning most of the CCP events and stealing Gallente territory?

Take a look at the current Gallente vs. Caldari FW.

How would you even know?

The buy order 14 jumps away is still within The Forge so it appears on the market in Jita.

So buy it and relist it at non-retarded prices?

It's a buy order, not sell.

Here's the video I had of an older test with the first version of the bot.

It only shows 4 sell orders but it can go for 50 buy and 50 sell, and the wait times can be adjusted accordingly so it does so fast enough. As you can see, there's no memory reading and it's fully pixel-reading (and it also has randomization), so its pretty much impossible to be detected.

Again, that's the very initial version of it I wrote about a month ago, I am now writing an actual OCR bot using OCR libraries that completely understands all the text on the monitor and is able to select items from my inventory and sell, should the price rise high enough. It will also have an API or spreadsheet integration for calculating market statistics and an ability to synchronize between several instances of it on different computers.

The bot in the webm takes about 100-150 lines in Autoit to code and can be made absolutely errorless. The simple functionality of having it go trough all tens of your orders and update them using the method in the video is enough to net you 100m to 200m per hour if you pick the correct items (use a spreadsheet and manually do so)

>"0.01 is fine and there are no bots in jita ur just a shitter lmao 1% undercut rule sucks"

heh

They were wiped out few months ago.

I'm so confused. When I last played this three years ago, the Gallente were getting their shit pushed in by the Caldari militias. What changed the momentum? New alliances getting more interested in FW?

What happens if the Amarrians just get totally wiped off the map?

factionwarfare.com/oped-rens-is-dying/

Maybe the reason why they went elsewhere was to do other shopping?

By the way, if anyone needs any guide for writing simple bots in Autoit, feel free to ask. I'll spoonfeed you everything. There's literally no reason not to bot Jita RIGHT NOW.

The more of us who bot, the higher the incentive for CCP to fix their shitty market and implement the 1% rule. I'll use this trip from time to time so if you see me post with it, you can ask me whatever you want related to botting, I'll help.

Have you accepted our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ?

nothing happens. FW is just a cosy farming arrangement. they all switch sides all the time

In my heart there is only place for Empress

>Not worshiping Slaanesh

I don't want to be spoonfed, but if there are any resources you could link to I'd appreciate it.

I see how you do it now, I think I can script it myself. Not that I'm probably going to because I don't want to get my account banned

Do you have a mechanic scripted where you won't raise the buy order too high in order for it not to become unprofitable?

warhams pls go

I'm not into traps

...

While not directly related to botting I'm still a bit new to station trading (Been playing about a month) and am wondering if there's a better way to find items to trade in rather than just tediously clicking through the market and looking at the buy orders vs. sell orders. I see everyone talking about using spreadsheets but to get them to function don't you have to import each item into the spreadsheet manually first? If so then I could see it being useful in the long-term but it seems just as tedious when you're first sifting through items.

>import each item into the spreadsheet manually first
importxml function it's called I believe You can pull the prices from a website like eve central.

If you want to get serious in trading you should probably use one (or create one, I gues, but there are already enough out there)

This is the most retarded mental gymnastics ever.

>tripfag

fuk this is actually pretty good

youtube.com/watch?v=IXH0utgaDUw

>if there are any resources you could link to I'd appreciate it.
The Autoit forums and dissecting written scripts. Tho directly asking questions is far more efficient, so I'd strongly recommend that while I'm available

>Do you have a mechanic scripted where you won't raise the buy order too high in order for it not to become unprofitable?
Not in that script, but later when I integrate the OCR part I'll have it also gather top sell order price.

>I don't want to get my account banned
Sleep(Random(50, 100, 1)) after every line in your code. Randomize the sleep times between inputs and when you actually use the sleep function.
Your bot just became undetectable as you're emulating real human input and the bot-detection software only flags your account if it detects an input pattern. I know that because WoW's Warden used to get triggered by normal (legal) Razer mouse macros, so bot-detecting software seems to be coded to detect botters who don't randomize inputs.

Yes, spreadsheets definitely. Here's a function to import the Jita buy prices for all items in the game
=IMPORTXML("api.eve-marketdata.com/api/item_prices2.xml?char_name=demo&buysell=b&minmax=max&station_ids=60003760", "/emd/result/rowset/row/@price")
Add this to a column next to it
=IMPORTXML("api.eve-marketdata.com/api/item_prices2.xml?char_name=demo&station_ids=60011740&buysell=s&minmax=min",
"/emd/result/rowset/row/@typeID")
And you will have the typeID of the item corresponding with the buy price at Jita right next to it. Modify the URL for sell prices (buysell=s&minmax=min)

I'm on your side lad, I also hate ego-tripping tripfags. Don't worry, only gonna use it for bot/programming discussion

>unironic tripfags

How viable is this fit for unironic solo pvping in nullsec?

looks meme as fuck, why not fly something normal instead

Can this do a 6/10?

>phantasm
>viable
am I being meme'd

replace your fourth gyro with a damage control you chucklefuck. It's called stacking penalties

>pve
>damage control
>implying 4 gyros aren't perfectly viable

-1 gyro would kill like 30 dps on his fit

...

shieeeeet 30dps

A tracking enhancer would probably increase your applied dps more if you really want more gank.

>a cruiser shouldn't keep up with a frigate
/eog/ memes.

>500+ mil for something a 30 mil cruisers can do

Stop meme'ing son

400 DPS at 20k, 18k EHP.. suure

In other news, that cap.

Just realized it's overprop.

Traash.

>400 DPS at 20k, 18k EHP
Is nothing special for a cruiser

a plate rep beam omen gets about that

An omen can pull that off albeit without the oversized prop.

do you make tons of dosh doing that? what's the per month income of botting.

How do you guys stare at spreadsheets for hours without wanting to kill yourself?

I have porn on other screen

I don't actually do it often as I don't care as much for the ISK as for the fun of solving the riddle of coding it, but if I did it 8 hours every night while I sleep, I'm sure I'd be netting an average of 1b per day. Stopped at 10b

can you just upload your bot to a google drive or some shit? I could follow a guide with all your spoonfeeding but that'll take a really long time

Nah, the bot is specifically designed for my desktop dimensions and my window positioning, plus its not working right now as I'm heavily modifying it. It wont work on your computer since I haven't bothered adapting it for mass use

Seems you'll have to learn from scratch lad. Not that it's hard, it's actually quite fucking easy, it seems intimidating only at the start

Do you make a new character and then just lowkey drop the dosh off RMT style or are you not worried when CCP finally decides to ban bots

I've done it for a while on my main, and I've also heavily botted other parts of EVE and WoW (chat spamming specifically) and I haven't been caught once simply because of the fact that I randomize the time between every input, making it seem human to bot-detection software
To have an admin manually dedicate time to investigate specifically me, I'll have to gather quite a fuckton of reports for botting, which will never happen, so I just bot on my mains

I mean you could just tell me your desktop size and the position the bot attempts to click at and I can line it up from there.

As I said, the bot is not working anymore as I'm recoding it and the code does nothing right now.

You can check the webm I posted here and guide yourself from the output of the debugger window. I wrote the debugger to output every single step so I can make a video of it and watch it later should the bot make a mistake, so I know where the mistake happened and recode that section.

how do we get rid of these faggots

Petition CCP to remove 0.01 and raise minimum undercut value by 1%

>plate rep range fit

I'm an okay C programmer but i've never written a bot.
Other than the Autoit forums, where should i start for botting knowledge?

but that's needlessly complicated compared to the other solution that was posted

couldn't you just not be an aspie

1% would completely close the margins and elseways make nobody feel like selling anything. What seems fine, .01 isking or realizing that if you keep undercutting, you won't make anything.

how about, the cost of modifying an order grows the larger the order is.

that way, you could still have 0.01 wars, but the median price would still be set by those with the fuckhuge orders, which would tend to keep prices more stable than rampant 0.01-ing

but I thought we didn't want 0.01 wars

If you're an okay C programmer, you'd be able to learn it straight from experimenting and writing basic programs within a few days. The in-built help function has an index searcher where you can search literally every function, along with well-commented examples below it (pic rel). You can then research further by googling, which will always return a couple of forum threads with your question solved

Start by coding basic shit like math output to msgboxes, arrays, string management, mouse/keyboard control, so on. Always use the help function.

As for general botting knowledge, there are a couple of forums with a lot of autoit-related (and general) discussion for botting games, google returns most of them.

read the reply chain for the last 100 posts of the last threads, we already went over that with pretty much every variation of an argument
tl;dr 0.01 is retarded

>tl;dr I'm gay

thanks Botguy, i think this botting project will finally get my lazy ass outta my 3 year coding hiatus.

what are the good Armor frigates/destroyers right now?

i can fly anything but i'm best with Minmatar/gallente :\

for what

.01ing not being fine doesn't make 1%ing alright.

There's blatantly no rebuttal to the awfully few orders between standard prices and no profits.

for a roam with Eve University newbies, so it doesn't need to be optimized terribly well. not mentioned if we'll have logi.

Talwar

I would list a frigate, but most don't have the range to get in and out of fights, both safely and with decent DPS

ask them

>Amarr

>FC wants me in serious business F1 babby shit

what should I bring instead

drake

whatever is one class higher than the ship you're supposed to bring so you slow down fleet warp speed by your mere presence in fleet.

Not a pretty output but here's the progress on my """""""""simulation"""""""" of sleeper sites done in MATLAB (for ease development and b/c I really only care about the math answer and not it being portable or easy to use). The green is the current sleeper target, red is other sleepers. Size corresponds to their ship class.

I've got acceleration accounted for for drone and sleeper movement. Also there is a delay worked in when switching targets because it's not instant in EVE

Anyway here's an example of the output. The wave ranges to start aren't accurate yet but that's easy to change

vigil fleet issue is top tier

tfw your waifu gets all dirty

This is awesome.

thanks user. It's got some minor bugs like the movement being jittery but it shouldn't affect any damage calculations so shouldn't be a big deal

I still have a few things I want to add but it's working fairly well

which bellicose skin do you guys use

>/eog/

Lull.

So, how's the PvP?
