explain yourself

maybe I should glue some steel onto it so the wasps cant get in to make a nest? I park it outside next to some bushes

>I like the sound is this normal?
yes
broken mufflers always sound great
webmshare.com/play/5v9rK

>not wanting to smoke the wasps

...

post your bikes.

>ABS

...

Just did that, not even an hour ago, cunt.

sounds good to me but I can't see the bike is it far away?

also why does applying this hot glue hurt my eyes wtf

you going around high fiving yet?

mandatory in Deutschland.

...

Seen at a local car show.

keke wasn't my bike, was my car.
muffler is completely fucked

TFW NO ZX-9R
REEEEEEEEEEE

>you going around high fiving yet?
Not yet, maybe next week.

...

Beautiful hipstermobile, so tempted to get a 70s or 80s shitbike at some point... BUT ALL THE WRENCHING.

...

Man up!

That`s how brake disk lock works.

How to carry phone and wallet when I have no pockets in my riding gear and no storage space on bike?

>seit 2016
Well it is a 2016 SV 650.

Same problem. I use a backpack. Carry phone charger, phone, wallet, keys, and some water. It's been working fine I guess. I'd prefer to have storage space on my bike though.

Im done using really hot glue and some metal on the gaps to keep the wasps out. Does it look professional?

whats that, it's sexy

beetle

I know
we sell tehm at our shop, too.
pls get a kurzes Heck, otherwise that looks like cancer

take a backpack with you, or just put them between you and the jacket if you have a one piece suit or can connect trousers and jacket

phone and some bills in one of your boots

Well I normally wear a jacket with pockets, but it's so damn hot right now I can't do that without feeling like I'm about to die after 20 minutes. I like to wear my off-road pants because they vent really well, but they don't have pockets or anything. I'm thinking about getting one of these rockymountainatvmc.com/p/1008/45355/Moose-Racing-Removable-Rear-Fender-Pack-?term=fender pack to hold my shit but I'm reluctant to spend that much money.

Forgot to say backpack is a no-go for the same reason as it makes me too hot. It's uncomfortable too.

tank bag

Are you wearing a one piece track suit or something?

Plastic tank. Magnetic tank bags won't work. Do you know if any that can strap on to a tiny little tank?

Off-road gear with no pockets.

get a fanny pack or a fender bag

In all seriousness though. Does it sound like the leaks are fixed?

whats that cost?
definately want one

iirc we use these, about 60 bucks
mostly combined with LED indicators, looks sicherlich better than the strange bloated stuff that comes from the factory

DAS is coming up, now it's time TO DECIDE:

>a) Bigbike in the UK

>b) Fuck dead-end job, join JET program (and take £10k pay cut), japbike in japland for a few years

>DAS
was das?

10k cut from what income?
for me a 10k cut means I only get 10k.

Direct Access Scheme. After age 24, you don't need to faff with progressive licensing and can go straight from CBT (125 only) to unrestricted.
£30k pre tax to ~£21 pre-tax for JET. As far as I can tell, I'd be liable for UK tax for the first year, then Jap tax (which is Who The Fuck Knows) for a second and any subsequent years).

Its only going to hit 99F today, I think I will ride.

yeah really ruins the aesthetics.
Probably gonna get it done with the first service.

-only- 99F

gotta get some more heat-out over her in CA. :-(

I hurt my back.

I'm not much better here in east county San Diego, fuck this shit, I'm not riding to work today.

It's bad enough I gotta ride around all the ol' timers heading to the Casino and the damn 'zonies heading home, I'm not riding in 100+ heat again.

Check out these: motorcycle-superstore.com/25407/i/moose-racing-big-horn-tank-bag

I bought the bigger expedition bags for my acerbis 5 gallon tank.

Secsi

I think I'd be more inclined to use a fender bag than a tank bag since that looks like it would block my knee room.

you dont have trunk space?
lol

...

Selling it soon. Maybe. Possibly. I don't know.

Is there some actually working method to add capacitive touch capability to waterproof gloves? I've got a pair of Dainese Ergotours, and so far I've tried 'Anyglove' (a conductive gel coating. Tried progressively more coats until I;d glopped most of the bottle onto one finger, no dice), Glovetacts (adhesive conductive stickers), and taking a pair of touch-enabled work gloves and cutting the fingertip off to slip over the glove fingertip. All without any success. With the severed glove finger, it works perfectly well when my bare hand is inside it, but not when over the glove. I suspect all of these assume some degree of conduction between the touch material and your hand inside the glove, and the Ergotours just appear to be too insulating.
About the only thin I can think of is to get a capacitive stylus and glue a magnet to it so I can stick it to the tank, and hope the wind doesn't blast it off.

nice bike m8

unfortunately I ride an enduro and not a goldwing.

buy proper satnav

i bought nanotips for my leather gloves. it works but kept peeling off. wound't recommend.

>pay 3x the price for a shitty non-multi-function tablet with a resistive touchscreen, worse GPS, shorter battery life, get charged extra for traffic updates, map updates, etc

I use my phone
I too have a pair of dainese gloves, but they're leather and the touchscreen senses them

I pulled some super fine copper wire out of an old headphone cord and stitched some through my glove's finger tip.

Just make sure to put it off to the side so it doesn't get irritating when you're working the throttle or brake.

I think I'm going to try to use velcro to attach a small lunch box to my bike instead of buying a motorcycle fender pack. Am I going to lose all my stuff?

Condor 165 Hydration pack for $55 on amazon.
Useful for more than just riding, and has bladder for hydration on long rides. They're tough too, I've already crashed once with mine on, my leathers have more to show for it than the pack.

okay :3

>humidity 10%

That's nothing. You South West fags don't know what real heat is. Dry heat is nothing compared to humid heat. I'd take that over 80 degree humid weather.

I kind of want to avoid sewing in conductive thread (wire, Lame, etc) except as a last resort. Pokes holes in the goretex liner.

I'd take 110 with no humidity over 75 with 80% humidity Tbh

Walking outside here during the summer is like walking into a shower sauna ;_;

Upper Midwest here, had like 95+100% humidity last week. Was awful

how is the cb250r?

Couple for sale near me and thinking about picking one up. Have dirtbikes but havent had a street bike since 2012 and just had an old klr250 then.
Just kinda want a street bike to go to work and back on again and ninja two fiddies are everywhere and I think the cbr looks better.

Yup it's been bad. I spend a week in phoenix and it was like a nice clam morning. Dry heat isn't shit.

I actually found this cbr250r for the chick I've been seeing the last couple months and she bought it Saturday night. But I've been cruising it around town for shits and giggles since she left it with me until she gets her permit tomorrow.

Thing is fun as hell to toss around. So light and just fun. Power wise I almost have fun with the fact that I'm full throttle everywhere I go. I cruised highway yesterday just to see how it was and it wasn't bad cruising at 70mph.

I've ridden a couple older 250's and 500 ninjas and this thing feels way better in comparison. The fuel injection probably helps a lot with that when it comes to throttle response and whatnot.

Anyway, just a fun bike. Though sounds like with your experience I'm not sure that you'd be happy with the power for an extended period of time. I'm sure if I rode it every day I'd get bored of how slow it is within a month or so.

Going to ride to work for the first time tomorrow. Hopefully gas will last until the gas station that's mid-way, because I'm a retard and didn't fuel up last time.

Gotta learn how to ride in time for SEM. How did Bled get chosen anyway? Just for the nice lake or is there something interesting in the way of roads?

Nice scenery, nice roads and cheap as fuck

Why do people pretend to know shit about bikes?

the same reason they do that about any other topic

>disrespecting the man who brought you into this world

Well, if i went skydiving i wouldn't argue with my instructor
If i've been skidding about for years and you haven't, i'd say i'm just a tad more knoweledgeable than you

>Implying I asked to be brought into the world

when I took my mom for a ride, she got scared when I was doing 80 km/h in a straight line (speed limit was 100)

took my roommate for a ride a few weeks later and could hear him laughing when going WoT and 180 km/h

youtube.com/watch?v=_t1SbeRA5uc
it sounds beautiful

I ALSO TOOK YOUR MOM FOR A RIDE FAGGET!!!
ON MY DICK!!

just got this thing about 4 weeks ago, im still loving it, still getting used to it. Have a question though? i see guys riding in t-shirts all the time, ive got a proper jacket though, the weather is nice can i ride with a tee or is it wise to stick with armoured jacket still? noob question i know but...i just recently became part of the biker community.

>Took mom to vote for regionals
