Judging to me the SUV could of driven better but the biker definitely should of been prepared for this situation, his reaction time between seeing the car take the right turn and hitting the brakes is painfully slow.

Also got to ride a recent-ish (2010?) R6 today with a full exhaust.

It does have a great deal more of torque down low, it does engage warp drive a tad sooner and it is an overall faster bike than my CBR F3 but to be honest it sounded horribly disappointing.

The CBR has a.... it feels like a fuller and more menacing sound. It emits this continuous, somewhat coarser deeper growl while that R6 has a complete sewing machine feeling to it.

The biker didn't anticipate at all. If you drive assuming that everyone will obey the law and drive competently, the accidents you'll eventually end up in will partially be your fault.

If I see an SUV acting like the driver is uncertain (which is always in LA) then I instinctively get ready to evade. I've avoided a bunch of accidents by noticing erratic and uncertain driving.
