Even with the buffs it's still not that good. I prefer to go SWAT or Commando for waves 1 and 2 so I have enough dosh to switch to Demo and get the M79 and plenty of ammo for it instead of suffering using the HX25.

the 1858s aren't great but with how gunslinger works you basically trade them out after 1/2 waves. Meanwhile SS is stuck with the LAR for basically the entire game if they want to go railgun and not cuck themselves into an offperk.

Stopping in your tracks half the time because they resist reactions while doing basically anything other than walking/sprinting strips away most of the enjoyment from it.

The LAR still has the capacity to kill things + bigger things from later on, which is leaps and bounds over what the 1858s can dream of. The 1858s are even outclassed by the 9mm which is just incredibly sad. Hell, with the recent AR changes the Varmint Rifle and Bullpup do the same damage as the 1858s with a ton more shots per clip. The revolvers just have massively poor potential.

If you're using 3 SMG it's pointless. As it was said, Commando and FB are better for that.

I wouldn't be surprised to see the AR-15 eat a nerf within the next two patches. It's just way too good right now. When I play Commando (which is often), I stick with the AR-15 until I can afford the SCAR because it's that good.

I agree that Commando is better overall, but the SWAT's Flashbang and ability to shred Scrake heads with the Kriss are not to be underestimated.

If anything the bullpup should get a +5 base damage buff so it's in between the ar15 and ak12 again.

Unless the commando can snipe flawlessly a scrake without taking damage or stunlocking a fp with little to no damage then yeah, maybe the commando is better

You save about a second for each empty reload and you're missing out on 10-15 bullets each time.
You'll just be reloading faster, but more often.

With the fast enemy spawns, reloading faster is more important than some extra rounds.

Just look at the google docs reload times.
The second difference you save is if you reload before your mag is empty, the empty reload times are only like .6 to .9 second differences, pretty insignificant.

I usually reload before emptying the magazine.

Can you still get the "Win a game with X perk in Y difficulty" achievements in custom maps? I've beaten a custom map twice with Demo in Suicidal, but haven't gotten the achievement.

Go play the left side a couple of times, it's far, far different than it used to be. There are spawns from the hill behind them, but more importantly, if they have to back up away from anything, ridiculous hordes spawn just around the corner of the trucks.

Remember that the difficulty scales with player number not perk level, so you just did it even harder and you would have died on the second/third wave if somehow managed to screw up
