Wasn't the problem with molten that it was "too easy" to play cheaply, but arcane is even easier to play and more classes can use it properly, except warlock.
Blizzard has some irrational decision making and it killed a unique deck for it.

I innovated by making an extreme ramp deck with druid. It shits on aggro unless they have like godhands steamrolls tempo and shits over any control. Ysharj barnes and fandral where the final touches. Barnes to aviana to ysera and ysharj.
With Barnes and Arcane Giants, do they benefit Malygos or Miracoli more?

AoW is shit when pulled from the deck, and Bog is only ever so slightly worse than it. Same reason druid of the claw or master jouster aren't in the deck.

What do you call aggressive deck that requires opponent to have perfect answers or accept inefficient 2v1 exchanges (so they generate value by themselves) just to stop them from pushing his face in by turn 7. This aggro with lots of sturdy aggressive minions completely replaced old face decks.

People complained about it enough so it got nerfed, that's basically all there is to it. It's like a presidential election where you get some things you don't want but at least you get some things you do want too (like juggler and druid combo nerfs).
Honestly the biggest problem I have with the nerfs is how over the top they are. It really wouldn't be that hard to make these cards playable but not downright broken. Every time though, they take broken cards and turn them into unplayable garbage. Juggler is one of the few instances where it somewhat survived the process, but people often still pick flame juggler over it nowadays.

I think Blizzard would rather just erase the cards from existence rather than nerf it slightly and then later find it needs adjusting again.
It's a real shame, because as a digital game they have the ability to fine-tune things with granular control, but instead they avoid the shit out of it for some reason. Instead we have some mysterious entity that swoops in 8 months after a problem card has dominated the meta, and just plucks it out of the game forever.
Someone fix this to have two Calls.

Hearthstone needs a Reaper of Souls style revamp and a PTR would be a great first step.
