you could go barely lowlife and have them explode on impact/summon, but that build has been nerfed hard quite some time ago

Lowlife build, they apparently have the same % health on spawning as you do. So just reserve 70% of your health

I proc it with my potions, I only did that on Uber Labs and Atziri, if not I have constant 3% leech which is more than enough to sustain back the 100 PHYSICAL DAMAGE (Mitigated to about 40), when I take savage hit with my 10k pool I can instantly get the life back up

You can stick a Minion Damage Support Gem in there too.
You'd probably need to scale your own life up also to give the minion life nodes and support more to work with.

you really want to ignite with this build though

The mirror arrow clones life is based off your life + minion life node increases.

For instance in the demonstration shown to us the character had about 1k life so the clones explosion damage was based off that 1k multiplied by minion life increases.
