I'm level 43 and have been doing all the side quests up until now, but they're beginning to be a pain to keep doing. Will just doing the main story quests get me to 50? Will I miss out on anything if I don't do the side quests, besides exp and money?

Not long ago they increased the exp given by the main quest, you will get to 50 with the main quest alone just fine.

Main quest only from 45+ will get you to 50 and ~HM4. Generic kill quests/etc. blues from 45-50 are literally worthless. Before that you can do them if you feel like it, but are still mostly unnecessary.

how come some fms use frozen soul for pvp? it seems 100% better to use burning soul since you're using chill rmb and arent getting many frost orbits

Because we do massive amounts of frost damage trying to get frost stacks for stun locking.
The amount of damage we do with fire is not all that much.
We cant just spam fire skills like crazy to win matches.

The only match up we can use Fire soul on is Summoner, when our goal is to avoid the cat and fuck up the summoner with insane burst.
