Not all dual sports and old Toyotas are created equal.
The KLR and Hilux are the gold standard of always reliable regardless of how much you beat the shit out of it.

Where do you live? I see literally DOZENS of PT Losers every single time I go out.
Well, I say look at the car that all the sandniggers with AK-47s are using.

Toyota Hilux.

There is nothing like that in the world at all, or else there wouldn't have been a person in the world without a car.
Actually Twingo seems to fit the bill so do other legendary shitboxes. If only Renault would continue to make those, and sell them with MSRP of 1000$.
There will never be a car like that due to ecology norms forcing the development of new engines.
No.thats the ar15
try 2-3k
in most places, you can find one for even cheaper than an AK, and most of the time as beat up as one too
Gen 7 civic.
They're still cheap if you're part of a Government body

Honda Super Cub
PT cruisers are definitely not reliable. Consumer reports has them dead last in every category of reliability except the sound system. Engine, drivetrain, body, they're all shit and will break soon
Trabant.
Old, cheap as shit, practically indestructible, Soviet, and easily fixed because there's no technology in it. Literally only a step up from a pedal car.
I believe they're actually unreliable. But I might be remembering wrong.

Shame on you Veeky Forums.
Those old darts with the slant sixes.
Ford's 60's to 80's straight sixes are right below this in reliability.
Nobody ever adjusted the valves on those for some reason though so if you ever see one it sounds like a fuckin diesel.
I used to be able to tell how low the engine was on oil by valve train noise. Not sure what it was about fords straight sixes but if you were more than half a quart low the engine would tell you through the hydraulic lifters. The more oil missing the louder it would be.
Not having a working oil dummy light and have a rear main seal leak, that noise was my warning.

Trabant is not Soviet you ignorant twat.

Anyone remember Goldeneye the movie?
The first thing that happens after 007 arrives in St. Petersburg is his American friend whacks an engine with a sledgehammer to start it.
I'd vote for that one.
VW TDI owner reporting. Hoping to get somewhere around $12-14K for my 2012 Jetta once the settlement program starts. Have been thinking of getting a motorcycle, but not having a car might suck in certain situations. I'd need a motorcycle that could have an easy enough time getting me to and from work 20 miles outside of the city each day. Also easy to maintain. Recommendations on a motorcycle around $8K that would fit the bill? Thanks in advance. Just started reading this board as I contemplate.
The only right answer
man i want a brick car, and then smash trough peoples yard fences
This bike would have to stall at the nearest sign of mud, so it can't be a dirt bike.
You know, they say that, but I see a LOT of late model PTCs on the road still, some of those cars are going on 10 years old.
They are really hateful and picky machines, not like an AK47, more like a South American-made H&K clone.
Volvo 240 is the AK47
740 is the AK74
Two cylinder 2-stroke engine. Not a lot TO go wrong, the bodywork is literally impervious to any form of decay, and any machine shop could turn out a spare anything for one.
You could also buy a second-hand one with just a pair of american jeans, and the previous owner would walk away thinking he'd got the better deal.
And he'd be right.
And yes, the bodywork was literally unable to decay at all. The bodyshells still persist. They don't burn, they don't rot, and they're so damn tough you have to feed them through an industrial shredder to get rid of them.
And since nobody has one, they're usually turned into chicken coops or something.
Close to an m14 imo, one of the old gi spec ones. And cop cars are just the m14 SOCOM
do you even have to ask senpai?

The only true answer is the Moskvitch. The IZh-built ones, to be specific. And, if we're including bikes, the IZh-56.
